Burma
Is this acute perception failure common amongst diddy clubbers? How is it possible to mistake someone mocking you for 'rage'? How can you possibly claim not to be constantly raging on here? Talk to me. Maybe we can work through your issues. And i dont think you should be using terminology you dont really understand. It will just result in the pish being thouroghly ripped out of you. Edited May 19, 2013 by Burma
WhiteRoseKillie
Diddy club forum for this pish. Correct. Pish correctly located, then....
flyingrodent
Personally rodent, I think it means we are the worlds best supporters, fitting for the world's most successful club. However, may I say to you......cool story bro. I think you should of course write to fare, uefa and the Scottish government about this chants hidden and dark meaning and get it banned at once, I am sure your hero phil mcmadeupname will lend his reputable name behind the cause and of course the legal beagle and esteemed lawyer paul will provide the argument in law. I have no particular interest in religion and I have no time for it in football grounds or in society at large. It's a tedious and wanky topic. But, I was asked to explain this by your fellow fans. Well, there you go - that's why you're The People with capital letters, rather than just people like everyone else is.

Bendarroch
How can you possibly claim not to be constantly raging on here? Because I'm not. I can and do get a bit annoyed from time to time - discovering that nescafe's 'unsweetened' cappuccino sachets still contain around 5g of sugar is an example. I was getting frustrated trying to find the faulty component in my new (and otherwise excellent) diabetic control regime until I came across that information. But, diddy club fans speaking out of turn about the Rangers? Sorry - you'll have to find another target for the idea that we might care what you think about anything to do with our team.

Bendarroch
A drop in the ocean and utterly insignificant when placed next to the rest of the nonsense the club and holding company have supported and turned a blind eye to. Really? Let's entertain the *idea that you are right and the Rangers have indeed worked to engineered a football environment where the club could profit from sectarianism. What, exactly, would that say about scrounging clubs who work hard themselves so they can leech off of the success of the Rangers and also profit - clubs like, say, St Mirren? *Most sensible people know it's a feral fantasy.

Sorry - you'll have to find another target for the idea that we might care what you think about anything to do with our team. Calm yourself right down. "speaking out of turn about the new rangers" ?? Seriously?? Its patently obvious you do care....and very very deeply at that. Otherwise why even respond.

Nobody like us, we don't care. Except you do. No football team, or its supportters, is an island. Or something.
Burma
A drop in the ocean and utterly insignificant when placed next to the rest of the nonsense the club and holding company have supported and turned a blind eye to. 100% agree. This new club has (much like the old club) actively encouraged sectarianism in order to create a cash cow.
Apache Don
When recently asked why he went to Ibrox, when he visited Scotland as a boy, the rangers interim CEO Craig Mather replied, ''my parents were Church of England''. Pretty much sums up what 'traditions' the ibrox club are best known for IMO. Edit to add the fud's name. Its this tragic narrow mindedness which people use to define themselves that i find so sad.

Apache Don
Aberdeen fans showing their class. But to be fair, players should be banned from using twitter. Oh well then, that just blows the whole ''Rangers are a club with a sectarian problem past and present'' argument, right out the water. Glad that's all cleared up. Maybe I'll pop back in later, maybe find some mature debate going on, maybe I'll watch Antiques roadshow.

Pretty much sums up what 'traditions' the ibrox club are best known for IMO. Edit to add the fud's name. Bit of a distortion of what Hugh Keevins says today, which is: ‘Careless talk is dangerous, as shown by Rangers’ interim chief executive Craig Mather when recently asked why he went to Ibrox when he visited Scotland as a boy. “My parents were Church of England,” he began’. I'd be genuinely interested to see the full interview with Mather rather than how he apparently "began" the answer to one question about his boyhood.
