timmy
Rangers aren't actually in that bad a situation financially. They have no debt and have £10m in the bank. We have £22m debt and about £2m in the bank. The comments from Dave king etc would appear to be because he is annoyed that he lost his investment in the old rangers. Mccoll would appear to be annoyed at missing out on buying rangers before green got them. They appear to be trying to scaremonger the support for revenge.
timmy
Another option is to offload some players, the high earners in January 2014 which will do two things A,reduce the wage bill & B,give the club financial assistance, the other things to look at is the bonus culture the board seem to have and the ridiculous wages they are on and does the club need so many overly paid spongers on the clubs employment list as well. And lastly you're a fool if you believe there is a war chest ffs WAKE UP !. Peter lawwell is on £500k a year plus bonuses.

Bendarroch
No one is willing to invest in a club that has no financial stability now or even in the immediate future because of the public knowledge the club is accruing debt crippling financial models and are way too far away from top flight football to save it as things stand. "It's public knowledge the club is accruing debt crippling financial models?" WTF? You don't half talk some amount of shite.

AES
McCoist = Chunt of the highest order. Someone needs to take that dog whistle off him. Why all the negativity? He and his team has won every league they have played in. There isn't another club which can boast such a success rate.

And the quote was "less than ten million". Current burn plus new payoffs, overnight stays, income slowed to a trickle etc probably means less than £4m with no line of credit available = best case scenario for yo, eh, "them". At least try and blend in for a bit.....

Laughing at rangers because they are losing money is pretty silly considering our last set of accounts showed we lost £7m last year, and that we have £23m of debt. We need to get our own house in order first.
