Apache Don
Genuine Q here Kincardine. The Directors Box houses Directors from the Club, or the Holding Company, or both? Guessing both as the McKrays have been in it but I''m not sure if that was ''official policy''. I may be wrong - if so feel free to correct - but I believe The Football Board consists of all the PLC Board plus the 'other' Easdale.

phasma ex machina
Really? We are just blokes who like football. Take a look at the match threads from both last season and now. You will see reports from normal guys who spend money to watch their team home and away. ''Normal guys'' don't follow follow
Apache Don
Thoroughly sane and well-thought through post which marks you as different to the usual brain-dead Ps&Ds on The Bralt. I read and re-read your post and would comment on 2 things: 1. " Graham Wallace should have been in from day one and gutted the place from top to bottom." On the money, chap. Everything I've read about Wallace places him as an honest broker and I find that refreshing. Moreover we've need a financial gutting for a year so it's a relief. 2. I do take issue with, "In most cases I would feel for the fans. But it's Rangers so i don't." Really? We are just blokes who like football. The point about Wallace is that he isn't a Rangers fan (to my knowledge) and therefore would not have been scared to make cuts from the off and wouldn't be scared to do the necessary business. I also think had he been there from the start, these players wouldn't have been allowed to be signed and the wage cut issue would never have happened. The aforementioned millions in wages wouldn't have happened either. Edited January 23, 2014 by Svoboda
The DA
No, I hadn't but just clicked your link. Usual bit of cherry picking I see. You chose to completely ignore the positives. ''When things are going well, have a generous, magnanimous nature, ready to offer support and assistance to others.'' ''enthusiasm and aggressive salesmanship are often sufficient to bring about fulfillment of ambitions''. ''strong desire for success and all amenities of affluence''. Guess what? It's not actually my real name. I got it from a character in a book who was 'good natured though ambitious and highly motivated', which is a decent summation of my own personality tbf. 'When things are going well...'. Let me know when and I'll look in again. 'Enthusiasm and aggressive salesmanship...' How's that working out? 'Strong desire for success and all amenities of affluence.' Looks like Super Ally has gone for the latter before ensuring the former. It's not your real name? I'm shocked. Why would anyone post under an assumed name?

cyderspaceman
So, does that mean they think he is sufficiently or not sufficiently? Oops! Tied myself in nots.
Apache Don
Wallace is a yes man, he'd have done as he was told to do. Quite and that is what he will be doing, which of course is just fine and dandy.
The_Kincardine
So what is your opinion on the latest emails released by 'CF' regarding Ally McCoist. a) Do you believe they are the genuine article or do you prefer to take the stance they are just 'made up' ? b) If not the latter, what is your view on McCoist and his actions ..... ?? Happy to have a go. Paying Ally £800K is absurd. I know he sells season books but we should surely be able to do that in a better way. My hope for Rangers when we got admitted to League 3 in 2012 was that we'd focus on the football rather than the cheque book.

The_Kincardine
Fixed So you said this: Now some of us are trying to have a reasonable discussion. Do you want to try and be reasonable or will you continue to be a c**t?

Why would anyone post under an assumed name? Thing is, my choice of user-name is nothing to do with my choice of football team. I've already stated that I took it from a character in a book with whom I share personality traits, not because of any perceived relevance to Rangers. Does the name The DA mean 'on a long losing streak' by any chance?

Do you want to try and be reasonable or will you continue to be a c**t? Delighted too old bridge. And your 'proper' view on the alleged emails? Ally is sleekit enough to ask to hide it to the Horde, so I think they are genuine. It fits. At least Walter sooked at the tit until he knew he was not gonna get away with the ineptitude that he could deliver at Board Level. Then skeedadled. Ally keeps on goin.
