Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

See this is the problem, the whole D&P/Greenco shenanigans was designed so that the above could never happen.

I agree with that.......but what about now though? Or is there just some sort of fatalism towards how an impending Administration would pan out?

Look, if you want to have a sensible adult conversation then I am all for that, instead you seem to be determined to have a juvenile one with your sevco, newrangers fans, fat sally guff.

So I am out and wish you good luck.

Tedi

Tedi, please feel free to not respond to my posts, it matters not a jot to me.

But this board is not just for you, so for the benefit of others;

I will continue to differentiate the old and new entities as I see fit (and in order to avoid confusion).

I still stand by my assertion that SevcoRangers fans have buried their heads when action was required.

I also contend that for a vast majority their stock response is conflict not influence and that has been a blind spot that has done them no good.

As an aside I'm listening to Graham Wallace on STV and he's understandably guarded, but he's handled the press conference pretty well (and on his own).

For once someone might actually be earning their fee down the Govan Shytyard for a change (see what I did there) ;).

Yours

aDONis

To be fair they already exist, the buyrangers scheme for instance, but this will never be enough on its own, we need our own Ann Budge for it to work, who? well there are a few candidates, none of them have come forward out with DK, not an ideal choice but better than nothing. Who had heard of Ann Budge prior to admin?

I never knew this......How many fans have signed up to this? I'm sure if 1 unified scheme with the support of the fans would encourage a more reputable backer to buy the Club..........I believe this (FoH scheme) was paramount in Ann Budge getting involved.

So any administration will mean a point deduction next season?

Currently it looks like any season ticket sold will stave off the event but unless investors can be found that will pony up another share issue for the fans is imminent ...

Admin or the fans pony up ... unless King gets serious and pays a decent price.

No. The rules say if the administration happens this season (before the last league game, I don't know if playoffs count) the points are deducted for that season. Points are only deducted for the following season if the club is still in admin on the date of the first league match.

So again we could see an attempt at pre-pack admin, with a quick CVA and out before the start of the Championship with no points penalty.

Without looking this up I think there would be a 6 months automatic SFA registration embargo but if The The Rangers were to exit before the start of the season they could buy players at the January transfer window.

Hearts fans have acted with infinitely more than class than ra peepil as well. Another major and important difference.

Have to agree with this.

Actually don't mind the Jambos. At least we didn't have years of their so-called superiority rammed down our necks.

Karma has finally acted on The Rangers & everyone is laughing.

Noticed this elsewhere, a huge part of the problem, shite deals trumpeted as masterstrokes.

There was a commercial uptick at Ibrox this week, with the announcement of shirt sponsorship by online casino operators 32Red worth, as the Telegraph revealed, £600,000 per annum over two years with an option on a third year.

The word reaching me from within Ibrox is that the first year’s tranche is not quite sufficient to cover the chief executive’s annual salary plus 100 per cent performance bonus which is to be paid in August in cash, shares or both. I do not know if Graham Wallace is worth that or not - he will be judged on the contents of his review - but no doubt there will be a long queue of voluble supporters willing to venture an opinion

This just reinforces the viewpoint that Rangers are not meant to survive.

I've been away for too long, are you now accepting that Phil is a reliable source?
