stonedsailor
What if this comes to fruition? The company that would be wound up would be Rangers International FC? Sevco Scotland could then be sold off to pay creditors and the football club would not suffer an insolvency event? Leaving those who actually bought shares in Sevco Scotland counting their cash and those who bought into the floatation penniless, again. Rangers shareholders fleeced twice? What was it George W Bush said? Fool me once shame on..... fool me twice, well just paint me orange and call me Billy.

beermonkey
alex thomson @alextomo Still no comment from Rangers. If there's nothing to the winding up petition why can't the club clear it up? alex thomson @alextomo last email from Rangers press office was at 15.41 promising to get back to me asap. Bearwithme
@alextomo: #c4news will now take that to Orlit sources for their response. It would be better if they actually got something from Orlit.

wunfellaff
Rangers are responding: Keith Downie @STVkeith Rangers: "RFC is capable of meeting any debts presented legitimately and we stress there is no threat to the Club whatsoever" Private members only meeting with Charles, on his way to Qatar then to Australia During his introduction Charles mentioned that he had lived in Dubai for 4 years running the largest Diagnostic Lab in the Middle East. He then went on to talk about how he became involved with Rangers Q: On the question of debt A: Mr Green reconfirmed that we will never run with debt as long as he is in charge. It is his philosophy that he believes his role is to build up the coffers of the club
