WhiteRoseKillie
To be fair guys like Durrant, McDowell and Jardine should have been punted this time last year by Haudit and Daudit. A team can get by without some coaches and ambassadors but not without a keeper. Now this is simple and plain common sense - why would you think it has a place on the BRALT? I've looked in vain throughout rangers' new lean 'n' mean drive for the shedding of some of the "luxury" employees that most SPL clubs manage to rub along without, never mind D3 teams. Now that it's happening, the only surprise is it's taken so long. It doesn't surprise me that Tedi sees the opportunity to bump the payroll back up, mind - you won't win D2 without a top-notch backroom and PR team, after all. I'd be interested to know where they're going to get all these top-notch coaching staff from, mind - they only managed to entice their "marquee" players ("rangers men" or not) last year by paying over the odds, so if the remuneration is dropping, why would top-notch professionals work for a D2 team?
bennett
Rangers is investing in the installation of two new state-of-the-art giant screens which will enhance the matchday experience and continue to make Ibrox one of the world’s leading venues. In the next few weeks the existing screens in the corners of the Govan Stand will be replaced by new giant screens measuring 72m2, 40% larger than the existing Jumbotrons, and among the largest screens in UK football. This will mean enhanced viewing along with a fan experience module for fans at future games. Only one of the old screens will be operational at Wednesday’s game against Linfield on Wednesday, 10 April as the changes take place. The first new screen will be operational at the Clyde game on Saturday, 13 April with both screens scheduled to be in place before the end of the season. All part of the work promised as part of the upgrades for our magnificant 5 star stadium - oh aye we are so skint. God knows where Whyte picked the old screens from, hopefully these ones are an improvement.

BinoBalls
This means away fans at Ibrox can now look forward to watching the action on state of the art screens while listening to neds chanting We Are The People, and being struck by coins hurled from the Broomloan rear. It's a step in the right direction for sure.

God knows where Whyte picked the old screens from, hopefully these ones are an improvement. For all the entertainment Craig Whyte provided, the installation of those "new" screens was possibly the single funniest thing that he did, and his ploy worked wonders. At the time Bears were using those screens as an example of Whyte's good work and massive investment.
GreenockRover
So 1 Big Telly = 1x Ian Durrant and 1 x Kenny McDowall ? Good haggling there Mr Green...... did you pay up-front ? Edited April 9, 2013 by GreenockRover
kildog
The worst ever.............administration The worst ever ............liquidation The worst ever ............Rangers Team The worst ever ............physio The worst ever ............collection of world titles The worst ever............. racist CEO The worst ever ........... manager The worst ever ............back room staff The worst ever...........sacking of a player CHARLES GREEN has asked Ally McCoist to consider sacking right-hand men Ian Durrant and Kenny McDowall to save his own job. And we can reveal the astonishing request has plunged Rangers into civil war. Embattled Ibrox chief executive Green has undermined boss McCoist by axing physio Pip Yeates, chief scout Neil Murray and striker Fran Sandaza in a chaotic two-week purge. But the Yorkshireman has now gone even further by telling McCoist he believes Durrant and McDowall must also be binned as part of his restructuring plans. McCoist has been rocked by Green’s request but is almost certain to stand his ground and demand his coaching team stays. And that could lead to a further deterioration of his relationship with the man who has already branded his team the worst Rangers side in history. Club insiders believe McCoist was nearing the end of his tether with Green before the outspoken chief floated the idea of knifing his mates in the back. It is difficult to see how the pair can now repair the damage done to their working relationship. We can also reveal Green’s admission he teamed up with disgraced former owner Craig Whyte to drive through his Sevco takeover has caused huge unrest in the boardroom and among shareholders. Chairman Malcolm Murray has yet to comment but a source close to the saga said: “There is a high level of concern about some of the things going on. What an absolute shambles of a club. Aye but they're getting new big screens! They are gonna be pure massive!!! The biggest in the whole 2nd Division!!! Think on that...

Given his outbursts this week, he may be prepping his own exit strategy.....just a thought. I reckon at least one of them is for the off before long, and my money would be on Sally being first out the door - all the vibes we're getting from the Horde would suggest they have had enough of the shite on the pitch. With the funds apparently drying up for wages, and the general air of uncertainty around Green's regime, it would be interesting to see which, if any, "club legend" would step into the breach. On the other hand, Sally doesn't do walking away, so....
