Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

I just go on the common sense approach, that on July 28th 2012, 43 clubs from the four top Scottish divisions held the SFA club license.

On the 3rd August 2012 only 42 of these clubs held the SFA club license, take a guess at which club no longer held the license.

Licence for noun.

License for verb.

Read more carefully.

I'm saying that the fact he made ridiculous noises about Craig Whyte in the past, can be interpreted in two ways.

You read more carefully, MT. You might limit yourself to two interpretations when it suits - Jackson's fantasy wibblings can be taken in many ways.

Come on now 'Fair Minded Bloke'. You know very well that the "lazy generalisation" I referred to, was your own.

A little honesty in how you represent the views of others please?

My intention was to credit you with the phrase "lazy generalisation" rather to pretend you applied it to the Ps&Ds. I can see I didn't do that clearly.

Oh dear .. and this from a supposed 'serious poster' ... hot air, pap and no substance.

Prior to 'big business and money' the larger football clubs were made up of associated members (legal entity); who were liable for the running costs and any debts incurred by their club. However once this entity incorporated itself into a limited company ... it became the company ... which your old club's documentation shows (posted numerous times). .. company (and club).

Once this company was liquidated .. the club died. It can't exist as the same after death. A new clone 'diddy club' exists .. but it's not the same.

I've never claimed to be a serious poster. Indeed, I've made a right tit of myself a few times.

However, my contention is simple: A club's existence is not coterminous with its associated PLC.

You cited one example where you agree with me. Intellectual honesty should bring you to the point where you agree with me entirely but I won't hold my breath for that.

Charlotte2Weeks ‏@Charlotte2Weeks 4m

Gazette notice ready. An Ibrox Insolvency event will take place before March. Voluntary Liquidation and asset sale 100%.

I think I'm right in saying the Charlotte2weeks twitter has already been shown up as entirely fabricated and not connected with the original CharlotteFakes which did appear to have access to various documents. The 2weeks account has only ever reproduced documents already released by Fakes.

No problem at all Kincardine.

You are indeed a fair minded bloke. In fact, I'd even describe you as a stand up guy, but I'd need to credit someone else with the phrase.

A quick google reveals this:

http://www.theguardian.com/profile/james-doleman

James Doleman was a member of the Scottish Socialist party from 2001 to 2004. He returned to Britain from New Zealand in 2010 and is working on a book about the Tommy Sheridan trial and its aftermath.

and also posts his mug shot:

Now if it IS The QC (which I doubt) then all I can say is thank f**k he wears a wig in the High Court of Justiciary when he represent clients.
