Sometimes it's good entertainment. I would be reticent to call it 'a Rangers thread'. I'd suggest it was a thread about the biggest scandal ever to hit Scottish football. There was no tag team abuse and as I said earlier, Tedi is well capable and has often indulged in the very behaviour you have accused others of subjecting him to. When I first joined P&B, I was amazed at some of the vitriolic nightly exchanges on The BRALT and believe me, Tedi was neither a bystander nor a victim. I would say since he has returned to the thread, his portrayed persona seems deliberately measured. He's playing a game that allows him the role of righteous victim in the face of - in particular - HB's more ''all guns blazing'' approach but a game he is surely playing, which it appears, certainly has someone fooled. You're conceding that he came in for abuse that was not reciprocated the other night, which is what my point was. I never said you were behind it. Your claim that Tedi's "measured" stance equates to his playing a dastardly game, is both a little bit bonkers and irrelevant. If someone's behaving decently, treating them in the same way, even if you disagree with them, is hardly being "fooled". My post was really designed to address No8's tired old claim that we're all obsessed and that this represents some sort of triumph for Rangers. As for a new club, my feelings are clear and woolly all at once. Rangers are a new club, sort of. The club/company separation is clearly a contrived nonsense that no sentient adult would accept if being entirely honest. The club as originally configured does live on though in the hearts and (in many cases tiny) minds of the support and this is not insignificant.
