He's always banging on about his fears of not being able to compete because of the budget he will be given and that hearts may get in the players he has an eye on. Can a manager with the second highest budget in the country complain about not having the funds to compete in the championship when his wage bill is bigger than all but one team. And seriously would you really let ally have a transfer budget!? The problem is, it's his wage budget that precludes him having a transfer budget. Those lower division titles didn't come cheap, you know. The thing is, I'm not sure that he's made the connection.
