So Craig Whyte reckons he's going to get the £18m left in the oldco rather than the creditors?

http://www.dailyreco...s-owner-6378388

A FIRM with links to former Rangers owner Craig Whyte has made a £25million claim on the assets of the liquidated company which previously ran the club.

Creditors of RFC 2012 PLC were advised of the 11th hours claim in a letter yesterday – and warned that dealing with it will hold up payments they were due to receive.

That letter came from the company’s liquidator, Glasgow-based BDO who said, that based in initial information, the Whyte-linked claim is invalid.

The £25million claim on the assets has come from a Surrey-registered company called Law Financial Limited (LFL) of which Whyte was a director when it was set up in March 2013.

According to Companies House, he resigned in August last year.

The letter from BDO says the claim from LFL relates to Wavetower Limited which was the firm Whyte used to pay off Rangers’ £18million debt to the Lloyds Banking Group after he bought the club from Sir David Murray in May 2011 for £1

Rangers fans, keeping con-men rich for living memory. Please don't deal with it, keep them away from the vulnerable.

The influential Roy MacGregor "And MacGregor reckons the financial situation in the Scottish game is becoming so bad that Premiership clubs could be
forced to turn part-time within three years. County’s millionaire financier laid bare his growing concern
for the health of our game
amid falling attendances, declining quality on the park
and dwindling income" Pure booming.

When Sevco played Brechin, why did they need SFA permission to play Rangers players?
How could the member club Rangers vote for the applicant Rangers to join the SPL?
Why did Rangers players have to tupe over to Rangers, with many of the best leaving on a free?
Why did Rangers have to keep Ally and McCulloch in a job for 3 years when they were no use?

So Whyte's claiming the assets of the liquidated company?

Before they are returned to the liquidated company, if it's found that the new company aquired them fraudulently?

That boys got some balls. Maybe he is a true blue, after all.

Imagine if he got ahold of them! Just imagine the seethe. Oh it would be so good!

I can't see it happening, and I don't even think that's what should happen in the event of the sale being overturned, but just imagine!

You've got to love him, might be found guilty of acquiring assets of a dead club fraudulently, brazenly makes a claim on those assets anyway.

All the while, open and honest Dave King, Chairman of said company, who acted fraudulently, is sitting not muttering a word.

King's probably stocking up on jelly n ice cream.

Looks like this Worthington Group PLC lot have bought Law Financial Limited from Craig Whyte and have plenty of money to fight their / Whyte's corner!

Who'd want to buy a company off Craig Whyte though or shares in any company that has Criag Whytes fingerprints of

I love they way this thread works. We diddies rip into them about the serious shit, Rangers fans all but disappear until they see a wee chink of light and they reappear in droves talking absolute nonsense as if the last punch to the stomach never happened then we argue about continuation for a bit until the legal system kicks in and Rangers fans are dealt another blow. Rinse and repeat. It's like waves of never ending happiness.

It reads to me like Sir Craigy is putting in a claim as a shareholder in the company RFC2012 PLC. Is he not claiming against BDO for the value of the assets? Meaning BDO are duty bound to pursue ownership of the assets on behalf of RFC2012 PLC?
