bennett
I wasn't trying to defend our european form, to put it into context you don't hear the management at aberdeen claiming we have a god given right to compete at a certain level of football despite blatantly failing to reach that level in a football sense. A God given right? Rangers, them, sheep, arts, Dundee united etc really should have done a better in Europe, apart from a couple of finals/some good runs our teams have punched below our weight. No moral high grounds, we've all been relatively poor. No short fixes this, the country needs to change its views on fitba and that'll take time.
Jacksgranda
p.s. when you do manage to engage your brain, how about explaining to us how Bill Miller = death of rangers BUT Charles Green = carry on rangers....???? "Carry On Rangers"? I must have missed that one...

Rangers, of course, were liquidated and can never play in europe again.

Still missing the point. Not arguing Scotland's performances in Europe are poor. What I am trying to say that modern football is reflected in the fact that a team that has had several failed attempts in a footballing sense to prove themselves at the top level would then claim that 'they should play at the elite level' purely on the basis of the fact they have a lot of fans is a very sad indictment of the 'sport' we all follow.

They trot that out every single year, I doubt that even densboy buys it anymore.
mythstoliveby
.....and to think I was originally going to put Charles Green = Carry on Regardless But I went for "Carry on Rangers" instead to avoid any obvious references to Sid James et al. Boy was I wrong on that one...... (btw, it must surely be Carry on Screaming!)

bennett
"LOAN STARLET Nathan Oduwa will be in the hotseat this week as we put him On The Spot with your questions tomorrow. As with all things Rangers, we fully expect to be inundated by questions from fans of other clubs, but don't worry, we'll sift through the questions and find some of the best to put to him.
