The DA
1 minute ago, Vanderlei said: SINCE terminating the IP Licence and Rights Agreement with Rangers Retail Limited, the Club has made its best efforts to engage with PUMA on an agreed way forward without the involvement of Sports Direct for the manufacture of replica kits and other merchandise to supporters. During discussions it emerged that PUMA had manufactured some replica kit after receiving purchase orders directly from Sports Direct and without the prior knowledge or agreement of the Club and its directors on the Rangers Retail Limited board, Paul Murray and David King. Despite requests to Sports Direct and PUMA we have not been able to ascertain full details of this arrangement or to reconcile it with the commercial contracts that were in place between the Club and Rangers Retail Limited. The Club has not been party to discussions on the launch of kit sales by PUMA this week. We were first notified of their intentions after close of business on Friday last week. We are surprised and disappointed by the lack of consultation with the Club and/or supporters groups prior to the launch. Maybe this will help with your Rangers investigations ^^^ club statement. Why would PUMA or SD be expected to consult with 'the club and/or supporters groups'? Wasn't that why Rangers retail was set up in the first place? Still, I wouldn't like to be the first fan to turn up at Ibrox in the new top.

Dave's wee plan to circumvent SD has fallen flat on its face. He's been handed his arse on plate. Humiliating climb down. Did Rangers Retail Dave call Sevco Dave's bluff? Fair enough. Personally, I don't care.

Puma and SD don't give a flying f**k whether Sevconians buy them or not as they still get paid. Bang goes the theory that if they can't produce any strips there will not be any unsold stock. Dave will see them in court, he'll be issuing the writs now, wont he? Surely that limp statement is not it? Oh..Kay.... -

RedAdair
At the launch of the new AFC away kit, I was chatting to one of the assistants and asking about the lead times etc. He said that the club has to choose the kit about 6-8 months before release so the stock can be made in the quantities and sizes ordered. I know this is for Adidas but I'd imagine the scenario would be the same for whatever kit supplier it is, so for Sevco to say they have no stock produced is just nonsense! But as mentioned before, the Sevconian fans can boycott SD and not buy the kit but it does not matter one bit, as Sevco contractually have to pay for all unsold stock from SD at full RRP, so its a win/win for SD!
vocal celt
Mike Ashley taunting Dave by advertising the kit on Sports Direct. No doubt Dave has prepared for this and court action will be swift by the googly eyed career criminal. Surely it wasn't just a ploy for ST revenue? Never mind 1872 will be there with money to bail out the sinking ship, who needs King's millions. What a hero to have. What was it that SA judge said?
vocal celt
John James on the topic of the CCK v Puma/SD/Big Mike. Even the stupidest of the Orclets (gullible as they are) must realise the Lyin King is a potless chancer trying to ensure his equity stake (purchased with other peepuls money) is worth as much as possible prior to extracting any profit. He wants the fans to funds repairs and maintenance via their donations to Club 1872. When is the right time for him to over invest? Desp
"Those who sought to defeat us under-estimated our resolve." The fuckers killed themselves. Quote The last four years have been the most trying that the Rangers support has ever had to endure. The unwavering support from you, the beating heart of the Club, is the primary reason that the Club endures today, ready to make an assault on the summit of Scottish football. The damage inflicted would have killed most institutions. As always, those who sought to defeat us under-estimated our resolve. When Rangers needed it most, our loyal supporters stepped up to the mark. While the first steps toward a full recovery have been positive, it is our absolute duty to ensure that the last four years never repeat themselves. In the spirit of the Gallant Pioneers we must take up the mantle. You may have heard about the recently launched fan initiative, Club 1872, which has the full backing of the current Rangers board. It is borne out of a vital requirement; to ensure that Rangers Football Club’s assets, history, reputation and existence are protected in perpetuity. The only way that we can ensure this is by giving the support a voice that demands to be heard. We have a simple but imperative mandate: To ensure that Rangers Football Club's history, assets and existence are never threatened again. To give the Rangers fans a unified, independent and influential voice. To emanate the spirit of the Founding Fathers. To defend the reputation of Rangers Football Club and its support. To increase fan shareholding to protect the Club for future generations. To contribute to, enhance and develop Rangers Football Club on the fans terms. To democratically represent supporters for the greater good of Rangers Football Club. We appreciate you may not always be able to attend games or interact regularly with Rangers due to distance or other commitments, but joining Club 1872 will give you a real, meaningful say in how our club progresses over the coming years. We hope you will consider spending a few pounds each month to assist in the rebuilding of Rangers. You’ll decide where your money goes along with thousands of fellow supporters. To find out more or to join Club 1872 please visit us at www.club1872.co.uk. Help protect your Club's history and its future.

Jimboyjones1976
Rangers fans who wear the new top at games face a boycott of something or other, a march of greeting faced Orcs to their home headed by an old player and shouts that " the big house must stay open!" And other pish like that.
