Logan even winning a major title is a slap in the face to most wrestlers. Him winning it would be fine for me. He's an absolutely excellent heel and really decent in the ring. If he does though it should he so that he is beaten at some point (and you have up to, and including, Mania). A match for his briefcase would be great. He's a big draw and his matches feel big time because of that (and because he doesn't wrestlers regularly, so his matches mean more). 39 minutes ago, Hoose Rice said: They have to go with him mate. Fancy him to actually cash in over Gunther around survivor series and Gunthers the fave to win the Rumble and go fight Rollins probably. At the least he needs to be in contention for Rollins' belt. Reigns is going to keep his belts until Mania and think it'll be one of his family who dethrones him. Will be brilliant to see how that ends up; genuinely could be anything from a singles to a four way to a six man HIAC to triple threat eliminator to anything else you can think of. They've handled Reigns tremendously. It's absolutely fucking mental to consider how badly they handled him before he had to take time out. When The Shield split everything about Reigns was pish. He had the same music. He had the same look. He had the lamest of lines. When he came back from his illness as a heel, he changed all of it. He got rid of the abysmal chest protector to show off his phenomenal physique. He got music that suited him. He spoke like an actual person. He wrestled in a way that made sense rather than a guy who went through a routine to get towards certain moves. He was a character who made sense in what he did. His record breaking run has been immense and when he loses the belts it will be incredible and will elevate whoever does it to the absolute top. Until then it will be hard to build any sort or jeopardy around his matches, so him being in a tag match like at MITB makes sense. Rollins having a top belt allows Reigns to miss PPVs and, vitally, defending his belts. There's loads you can do in story to stop Reigns being on a show and still have a match for a (supposedly) top title. The turnaround in Roman has to be be considered the best ever really. Was getting far too much shoved down everyones throats regardless of how good the potential was. Heel Roman and the who story for the past 3 years has been nothing more than sensational. Agree too but can't see that drop happening for a long time yet. We have Rollins the fighting champion around now so as you say Reigns can be around too fight different angles and even lose a couple of them without the usual build up to every angle defending the belt probably knowing the outcome.

djchapsticks
I love it when folk who aren't supposed to just completely catch fire. Anyone who saw Knight in NXT knew this was bound to happen - the exact same thing happened there. Impossible to deny the guy he's a one-off talent.

Lyle Lanley
WWE really are morons if they don’t give LA Knight a title soon.
forameus
Problem with putting any title on anyone is that you've got arguably your two most important titles tied up on two people you don't want to lose. Gunther is clearly beating the record, so you've only really got the US title to put people over with, and seems like it isn't the way they're wanting to go.

TheGoon
Well that was a nice surprise! I still don’t know what they see in Theory for him to keep ending up in these positions though.

But that match doesn't need the title.
