Oasis/Noel Gallagher/Beady Eye songs...

John Lennon is alive!!

This is my favorite Beady Eye song, followed closely by Sons of the Stage.

Never heard that before. Really, really enjoyed it.

Genuinely don't know what the British public wanted from Be Here Now. Highly maligned but for me is Oasis' best album.

I remember watching the interviews with the fans about the album, the majority seemed disappointed. Definitely not a shit album but was never going to top the 2 before, considering the pressure they were under to produce a new one. I love "My Big Mouth"

I've got a concert filmed at the Barrowlands in 2002 where they play Gas Panic. I can honestly say as an album track I never rated it that highly, but done live when they were firing on all cylinders there's layer on layer of growing menace building to a crescendo of rawk madness. It's a brilliant live song.

Oasis are still my favourite band of all time. Probably always will be. 8)

Edit: favourite songs from each album:

DM - Cigarettes and Alcohol
WTSMG - Some Might Say
BHN - I Hope, I Think, I Know
TM - Acquiesce
SOTSOG - Gas Panic
HC - Little By Little
DBTT - The Importance Of Being Idle
DOYS - Falling Down

That would change next week, though.

DM-Supersonic

WTSMG-Champagne Supernova

BHN-The Girl in the Dirty Shirt

SonSoG-Gas Panic

HC-Stop Crying Your Heart Out

DBtT-The Importance of Being Idle

DOYS-The Nature of Reality

Just looking through the albums again and I'm amazed Don't Beleive the Truth doesn't get more credit.

Definitely Maybe: Bring it on Down

(What's the Story) Morning Glory: Champagne Supernova

Heathen Chemistry: Little by Little

Don't Believe the Truth: Part of the Queue

Dig Out Your Soul: Bag it Up

With really honorable mentions to: Live Forever, Supersonic, Listen Up, Talk Tonight, Stay Young, D'Yer Wanna Be and Spaceman? Morning Glory and Some might Say.

Of course, i know most ablums inside out I was leaning more towards B-Sides etc?

She's electric is a catchy as hell song....

but

"shes got a sister, and god only knows that i missed her, and on the palm of her hand is a blister"

"shes got a cousin, infact shes got five dozen, but shes got one in the oven"

"shes got a brother, we dont get on with one another, but i quite fancy her mother"

are the worst lyrics Noel produced...and all in the confines of one song. Still so catchy though.

she's fae prestwick..... changes the song forever

Which is why I haven't bothered compiling a list! Changes all the time.

Listened to this for the first time properly yesterday. Is it a tribute to The Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored/Fools Gold? Nevertheless, what a fantastic track - and a top video as well, the band looking cool as f**k.

I discover a new favorite every time I listen to an album for the 1st time in ages.

As it stands the best I can do is.....

Fav single - stand by me

Fav b-side - Masterplan

Fav album track - Champagne supernova

Whilst I'm on an oasis trip, is Champagne Supernova the best ever indie track that was never released?

Hard to believe any other band would have a track that good that isn't released.

I've seen bands release tracks that Oasis wouldn't even consider for a b-side on the 1st 3 albums.
