ThirdrockfromtheSon
He's a friend of mine, he's decided he'll give me two red dots a day to try and wind me up. I'd hazard a guess that around 80% of my red dots are from him for no reason other than it was me who posted. I can assure you, I'm absolutely raging about it. Pretty sure I'll kill someone soon. No problem. Hadn't the foggiest idea you were friends, of course.Just seemed a bit odd that you'd had two reddies in quick succession. -
KennyWilsonsMoustache
In even more international flavour to our wee club, seems Senegalese right back Amadou Kassarate was playing for our u20's against Clyde. Nothing to shout home about though, young former Welling right back, but certainly entertaining names to read on DFC team sheets!

The Moonster
Get him signed immediately, Stevie. We'll stick him upfront. No, no, no. We'll play him at right back and play the Mantis up top. #goalmachine.
Jan Vojáček
No, no, no. We'll play him at right back and play the Mantis up top. #goalmachine. The Mantis upfront, Kassarate at right-back and Taggart at right-wing. So much right-back in one team.

lionel wickson
I see that Jon Routledge has a one game suspension, which means he will miss the Hibs game.

sonsanorak
I see that Jon Routledge has a one game suspension, which means he will miss the Hibs game. there could be a few suspensions coming up; barr, buchy and wright seem to get booked every other week.

Jan Vojáček
there could be a few suspensions coming up; barr, buchy and wright seem to get booked every other week. Barr served one against Raith, so he should be ok for a wee while. Him and Routledge are both on nine bookings - inc cup games - the next closest is Willie Gibson on six - who actually served a ban for Stranraer fairly recently. Including cup matches, Frazer Wright is on 4 bookings, Grant Gallagher, Gregor Buchanan, Steven Saunders and Calum Waters are all on three.
pleslie99
Justified...the guy had previous and about time the courts cracked down on these bigoted racist scumbags I agree, totally justified. If more people like him got banned for that length of time it might clean up the game
George Parr
I agree, totally justified. If more people like him got banned for that length of time it might clean up the game Correct. Sends out a message and demonstrates to the many doubters that this sort of behaviour doesn't go unpunished.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Aye, get it up him. I love how he's peddling the sob story about taking his boy to the football, that would encourage me to ban him for longer, horrid influence. I'd re-home the wean and castrate him.
Sweet Pete
thats surely over the top?! i appreciate the offensive behaviour offence is there, but a three year ban and 200+ hours of community service? Is it f**k over the top. If I'd been the sheriff I'd have sentenced him to death by repeated dry bumming.
squeezeboxson
Yep, excellent to see something is being done to stop these idiots. As above, it is worse that he has a son who he takes with him to games. Pretty clear to me he is an idiot who shouldn't be in any football ground again.
sonsanorak
I think the banning order is fine, my point was more that 200 hours of service seems at odds with the offence. His kid wasnt with him when he commited the act and he'd had a good drink apparently.
sonsanorak
i've read a little more on it, the community payback order seems to be an alternative to jail time. Jail time, for singing a daft song and making a dick of yourself. Edit to add; the report says that police first noticed him an hour before lifting him. that suggests to me that he was allowed to remain in hospitality. Also, he's been given 9 months to do his 210 hours of service, roughly 6 hours per week. Im not condoning his behaviour at all, but when we have fans in our end causing hassle theyre escorted out. The Moonster
Does it not make sense to punish drunken sectarian behaviour as heavily as we can given the massive problem we have with it Scotland?
George Parr
Does it not make sense to punish drunken sectarian behaviour as heavily as we can given the massive problem we have with it Scotland? Well exactly and I imagine this is the point the sheriff was making. A slap on the wrist doesn't wash when you look at the wider picture. We have to tackle this problem head on and laugh off any plea in mitigation re 'a good drink'.
