ayrunitedfw
Scott Agnew stays in Prestwick I'm sure. He is good friends with Brian Reid(played under him at Ayr) and the security of a two year deal will have been a major factor. As for players being a bit hesitant in signing deals they will be waiting to see if Ayr come up to see if they get offered deals from Scotland's Premier Part-Time club.

Nowhereman
I misread. My point was that Stranraer is further away from Dumbarton than Ayr. My arithmetic isn't hopeless. I have an E in "O" Grade Arithmetic so I'm qualified as an Arithmetician. And here was me thinking you were just being clever when you said that Ayr was closer to Dumbarton than Stranraer. Because, of course, it is.
Bankies Alive
Pettigrew was Auchinleck Talbot Captain for years and is a really good central defender although it seems he plays at full back for Stranraer!
Silverton End
He has already signed for you for next season along with our right back, Pettigrew. Heard Grant Gallagher is off to Morton too. Watched the play-off last night, Pettigrew played well.

How are you Bankies doing? Any signs of climbing back up for a Local Derby via the 'pyramid system'? Visited Kilbowie many times, sadly missed.
ayrunitedfw
Who, or what, is an Ayr? The club who are going to cherry-pick your best players for next season. Haters gonna hate.

One looks like he'll sign for St Mirren and the other plays for Celtic.

George Parr
I'd forgotten about Ayr in truth. Good to see they're still a thing.

Howlin' Wilf
Ayr Utd must be the most consistent under performers in Scottish football in the last 30 years.
ayrunitedfw
Haha, fair play lads. In all seriousness I've heard from a reliable source that we've agreed terms with two centre halfs if we get promoted. I would be delighted if one of these were Gregor Buchanan as I was desperate for us to sign him when he was surprisingly released by Dunfermline. Will need to wait and see.

Nae disrespect likes, and at the risk of ending up with egg all over my face, I can see Bucky getting a bigger club than yourselves. A return to Dunfermline has been mooted, and I'd be surprised if Morton or St Mirren weren't attracted.
ThirdrockfromtheSon
Christ, I thought I was the only guy in the world with an E in arithmetic ! My wife went to uni, got a degree but I earn more than her ............... You might be. I actually passed my Arithmetic with a respectable A. I was kidding about the E grade.Your second sentence is more important. Money is better than qualies any day. I went to the College of Commerce to get my AAT In accounting but I never used it to make money. My work has Overtime for that........

I never knew any of that.........but you must know by now I'm not as clever as you.......
