Frank Quitely
According to the Record we are trying to bring Aaron Barry back on loan. Anyone know if this is allowed, and more to the point does the story have any substance ??
Thommo90
Hopefully true. Failing that I can't help but think we should go for Craig Reid. Good cover for right back and could partner graham too? Could also have a point to prove to shiels?
sonsanorak
Would think sheffield utd would rather aaron went to a team at a higher level than us, if they want to loan him out. If his development is to continue he may be better served in a league with a better standard.
son hawk
I reckon that's probably just slow journalism. It was well known we were wanting to keep him on but I think Ian Murray said it wouldn't be happening.
optimistic
I reckon it could be craig reid, apparently sheffield utd wanted Aaron closer to home to watch him more, so I agree it could be slow journalism
Sweet Pete
Anyone know who the defender was that we had on trial recently for our bounce game against 'Well?
Naught A Chance
Hope it's not Craig Reid, bawbag.
squeezebox-son
Would be great to get Aaron back, but just can't see it now. As for Craig Reid, it is exactly the type of signing I can see us making. Would he come in only as cover for RB? Would make sense especially seeing as McGinn is missing a game through suspension. Fact is, we have had no cover for that position so far this season. But I had hoped for some younger signings as opposed to Craig Reid. Only really rumours at the moment. In saying that, he might sign on and prove us wrong..?
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Reid is a good player who suffered from the Morton effect this season. Someone who can cover both full back and centre back would be ideal and at 27 he's not exactly past it. According to Wikipedia he recently spent some time on trial at Coventry so not sure he'd be keen signing on as back up in a part time squad. My preference would be Barry but really cant see it happening.
Sweet Pete
Craig Reid would be a good signing. Can play anywhere across the back line and has plenty of experience at this level. The fact that he was shite at Morton shouldn't count against him; everyone is shite at Morton.

O'Kelly Isley III
Any chance of spilling the beans...? (I can keep a secret) I think it was a former Jambo Craig Sives, but don't tell anyone.
The Moonster
Currently playing for Hume City, a club based the suburbs of Melbourne, can understand why he'd be looking at a move to the Clyde Riviera... In all seriousness, he's been out there since November and according to Wikipedia has played 1 and scored 1. Doesn't look like the standard of league is very good but he was a regular for Shamrock Rovers it seems prior to that. If it is him and we do get him signed, one can only hope he makes as big an impact as the last player we brought in from Shamrock. Looking at his appearances compared to injury list, it seems he would struggle to make an impact though. Sweet Pete
Saw him playing Irish football last season on RTE's website (they stream games live on a Friday night). Game was horrendous and the ball was never on the deck for the full 90 minutes, but Sives was clearly very competent at dealing with the high ball stuff they were playing.
optimistic
Joe Coleman away back on loan according to his twitter
Sweet Pete
Joe Coleman away back on loan according to his twitter Good stuff. A full season of competitive games in the rough and tumble of the Juniors is ideal for a 17 year old centre half.
