But for me, that shouldn't cause him to look so uncomfortable at times and doesn't excuse basic mistakes. Someone with his experience should be able to do a reasonable job moving for RCB to LCB. It isn't like he's being asked to play full back or even CM. Given how vital he was to our good form/run in, I'm really hoping when we sign a proper CB partner for him that he'll be more like the player who finished last season. The Moonster Posted August 27 Share Posted August 27 There's no doubt Durnan has made errors but I would argue the 3 players playing alongside him are guys not playing in their strongest position. Shiels we all agree is far better further forward, Miller was really signed as back up for defence and midfield and even Pigniatello is more useful to us further up the field.
