NFL General Discussion

Los Angeles deserves one more than both Toronto and London.

There are always murmurings the Bills will move to Toronto full time in the near future

I've heard this and they have that Rogers invitational game or whatever it is called.

L.A. would make sense, but not sure that they deserve it? Toronto may fit better into the current set of teams if they take the Bills franchise, imo.

I guess CFL is an issue but money talks and the NFL could buy and sell all the CFL teams for one NFL franchise?

The CFL is brutal

I believe you get a point for kicking the ball out the end zone on a kickoff!!!!!

A rouge I believe it's called

The only Franchise that should move to LA should be the Raiders, seeing as they still have a big support there but it is a big enough market for two teams. Also they should have a look at San Antonio or Oklahoma City as that is big football country.

UK is a dead end.

Sawvan Argos game years ago at Exhibition stadium in Toronto. Was entertaining enough at the time but quirky rules. I think they had 12 men on defence or offence, but not the other.

I think they could schedule 8 home games no problem but LA would be the favourite, but does it deserve a franchise again? I guess as said above it could happen in the next few years.

Would there be an expansion or just a city switch? Apart from Buffalo any other cities who could lose their franchise?

Most definitely but the NFL doesn't want to get into a legal battle, where they've been sued in the past by minor leagues claiming the NFL was trying to monopolise Gridiron. They'd also have to fund a stadium completely on their own and outwith the Toronto teams Canada has failed to hold onto pro sports teams in the past in Montreal and Vancouver. The NFL like what they have just now with the Bills going there once a year, and never mind Los Angeles, they'll go to London before they ever go to Toronto. Expansion isn't on the agenda, the team(s) that will go to LA will be through relocation, either the Raiders and/or the Rams and the Chargers are an outside shot.

Good God no! Oakland is the spiritual home of the Raiders!

This is ridiculous. The weather doesn't even look that bad.

As soon as there's lightning in the area they shut down the game. The fact it's 50 miles away is a bit annoying. That's like there being lightning in Aberdeen and the Arbroath game being delayed
