Are the Rams likely to keep Amendola?

EDIT: I think he would be a perfect replacement for Welker at the Pats. He has great hands.

I stand by this statement.

Pats agree in principle 5 year contract with Danny Amendola. $31 million, $10 million guaranteed.

10 mins ago they were in talks with his representatives.

It's a huge risk but could pay off. Almost identical numbers to Welker signing in 07.

Anybody but them Danny. . . Anybody.

Broncos so far.

Wes Welker signed

Stewart Bradley signed

Terrance Knighton signed

Louis Vasquez signed

Only name that jumps out at me there is Welker. After the clusterfuck that was the play off game against Baltimore I thought Broncos would be looking to beef up that secondary but apparently not! Also god only knows what's happening with Dumervils contract talks!

Lol, nice.

There had been talk of him going to the pats as a replacement for an age.

Like you say if he can stay healthy then he will do ok.

It's gonna be interesting as hell.

Wonder how pats fans will respond to that signing. Same money as welker got in Denver(per season) but obviously younger and longer contract for danny.

Talk that the bucs not willing to give up a first round pick(13) for Revis.

I know he's coming off the injury and is looking for a large chunk of money but still.

That makes me think they will take a cornerback in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft. That Trufant guy out of Washington seems a talent

Jets watch:

Out
Mike DeVito signed with Chiefs (3 years $12.6m).
Shonn Greene signed with Titans (3 years $10m)
LaRon Landry signed with Colts (4 years $24m)
Brandon Moore rumoured to Bears.
Dustin Keller visiting Dolphins
Sione Pouha was released.
In
Brandon Gibson visited Wednesday and stayed the night
Mike Goodson visiting Thursday
Antwan Barnes visiting Thursday
Victor Butler rumoured to Jets, visiting Steelers
Jets trying to re-sign Matt Slauson.
Looks like Keller is going to the Dolphins. He went out for a meal with them and stayed overnight. I'm disappointed that we didn't bring in Victor Butler for a visit. I like him better than Antwan Barnes who only had a situational role at the Chargers. I would also like to see us look at Bernard Pollard and Kerry Rhodes. I don't think Pollard will be too pricey but I'm not sure if Rhodes wants to come back. Mike Goodson visited the Bengals yesterday but didn't come away with a deal.

Apparently Brandon Gibson actually stayed the night in New York after a visit yesterday. I would much rather have DeAndre Hopkins...

Bucs seem to be very interested in Revis. Apparently they have offered a 2013 2nd or a 2014 1st but Idzik wants a 2013 1st. I don't blame him, I don't think the Bucs will be as low as 13 next year. Now, if it were the Jags or Raiders that offered a 2014 1st, I'd reconsider.

Ginger..... Apparently we are interested in Slausen

He's a better pass blocker than run blocker. Would rather he didn't leave with Brandon Moore going as well, but he was being fazed out by Vlad Ducasse anyway.

Geoff Schwartz is a capable starter I'd like to see us go for in that case.
