GreenockRover
Bully for you. I grew up in Muirhouse [Edinburgh] during the worst HIV/AIDS crisis in Western Europe and still managed to crack on nicely during the 80's and early 90's. It was about showing initiative and guile back then rather than chip on the shoulder 'blame the Tories' fatalism. We make our own opportunities in life. Yep - scheme and scam, duck and dive, bob and weave.... Is that you Mr Masterton ???
RandomGuy.
I've no feeling one way or the other as I'm too young to know what happened. There's people on my Facebook younger than me celebrating her death though, I think people just do it to seem popular

Scary Bear
She invaded The Falklands and was therefore responsible for disrupting my viewing of Battle of the Planets when they stopped the program to inform me they were bombing Goose Green. As a nipper, I couldn't of cared less that they were bombing some Argentinian soldiers, so I have no idea why they thought I would be interested. I can't forgive her for this. When we started on Saddam first time around, they disrupted my late night viewing of Tough Guys, where Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas play aged gangsters. This also pissed me off. ayrmad
I don't know how much responsibility Thatcher should take for desimating industries/communities, something had to be done about unions, we were in a continual circle of strikes. The Scargills of this world must take a fair share of the blame. I wholeheartedly detested her when she was in power, still the best PM in my lifetime by a considerable margin, alas, we never got to see what John Smith was made of. Sergeant Wilson
Among these out pourings let's not forget Ben Elton who lost his whole act today. Sorry Ben.
Mr Rational
Bathgate no more, Linwood no more, Methil no more, Thatcher no more. As with other's I will not celebrate, but neither will I shed tears. As a nationalist, she has done more to further our cause than any other person alive or dead.

Pride_of_the_Clyde
I am completelt apathetic to Margaret Thatcher, however, had I known the reporter of her demise would receive +22 positive feedback tokens on this hallowed internet football site I'd have struck her myself! Darn. ETA - wrong disease. Edited April 8, 2013 by Pride_of_the_Clyde

Slavoj Žižek
I don't get it. What does 'seething' mean? What is the significance of the bloke in the picture? Is this some kind of internet joke? If so, well done, you really should be on Channel Four.
Gordon EF
I find it disturbing people are happy that someone has died, morbid c***s. Don't worry. It's equally as funny when football clubs die, like Rangers did.

kara_hibee
I heard she wanted cremated but she will have to be buried due to a lack of coal. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Pie & Bovril mobile app
Slavoj Žižek
And you mocked someone else's education?... I mocked no-one's education rather I pointed out inescapable facts about certain pieces of legislation that neutralized a tone-troll. I merely asked you what seething meant within the context of this forum and the context of this debate. Are you insecure about your own level of education? You have yet to provide an answer to my questions.
