RotWeissEssen
Is anyone thinking of going ? Uefa site does not seem to have confirmed the dates yet. Also to get the cheap tickets you have to book now and malmo could get beat although unlikely.

I'm going to go I reckon 'cause I've never been to a game in Europe before. I also don't think Malmo will be as difficult as some are saying on here. Its about £100 to gothenburg just now but price will go up and I guess you take the chance. Was at AEK game away which was chaos.

Someone got 2 returns for £125 which seems pretty good. Sounds amazing. How many did we take to AEK?
Eednud
Fly to Copenhagen then train or bus over the Bridge might be cheaper travel option.

Because of the twins towers situation there was maybe 1k at the game. Many fans had to miss the game despite being in athens as the first game was cancelled for a week. We planned a week on the greek islands after the game so managed to make the game but still had to get new flights home. AEK original ground was quite mental you got an armed police escort to the ground through a forest.

I'd forgotten how much the twin towers affected tbh. 1k is still pretty good so that bodes well for Malmo/Drogheda. I just wanted a general idea cause I've never been to an away game in Europe and was worried it would be a bit lacklustre.

Here is the 'minutes silence for sept 11' They were actually burning American flags during this. I would imagine Malmo will be just as tough a game but a more friendly atmosphere. john1962
Drogheda is a great place. We went there pre season two years ago. Plenty of pubs and the locals were really friendly. Stadium is a bit ramshackle though. Realise it will probably be Malmo but Drogheda will be enjoyable if that happens.

Happy Hibee
Malmo contributed big time to Rangers going down the pan. I hope they get a wonderful reception at Easter Road.
