AberdeenBud
And St Mirren... Our manager does not have an £8million pound warchest. And still won a national trophy.
Monkey Tennis
How about fans just going to watch their team play out of love for that team or is that too strange a concept nowadays? Not strange, just simplistic in the context of what's happened to Rangers.
AberdeenBud
Not playing down anything, every club in Scotland pretty much discounts the chance of winning a cup barr Celtic, for Rangers to make a serious attempt in winning a cup then we would need to have a squad capable of beating Celtic, that at this stage would be truly idiotic. Truly idiotic to expect a team with a £10million budget to get past the quarters in a national competition?

Celtic are certainly best placed to win the two main cups, but every SPL team can realistically hope to get good cup runs, with even a chance of glory, as Kilmarnock, Hearts and St Mirren have found in the last 3 finals. Given Rangers spending, they should be prepared to adopt a similar view. And remember Ted, you get to play in 3 domestic cups now, you lucky devils. To not win the Ramsden's again would be hilarious underachievement.
Bullyforyou
It goes up all the time 5 mill then 6 mill then 7 mill then 10 mill, make up your mind. Our wage budget wil be around 5 mill next season Crystal ball Tedi or inside info? Will wage budget not be set against ST sales?

Our wage budget wil be around 5 mill next season That's what the honourable Charles Green told us. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2250854/Charles-Green-pledges-Ally-McCoist-10m-spend-Rangers-flotation-LSE.html And he wouldn't lie to the The Rangers fans would he? Or the LSE for that matter. That would be naughty. And remember we’re not saying it’s £10m and only £10m — if Rangers fans buy season tickets next year, there’s another £20m there. AberdeenBud
So i'm sorry thanks for correcting me Tedi, it's a minimum £10mill budget for next season.
BinoBalls
I dislike Rangers as much as the next man, but fair play to Rangers for keeping prices the same. If they'd increased them, people would have said they were desperate for cash. If they cut them, the same people would say they were scared of losing fans. They can't win with some people. The way they are making their fans feel part of the cause is a bit laughable in some ways, but it works a treat and at least rangers do seem to be pretty in touch with their customers, unlike many other clubs. youngsy
"And, of course, whatever league we are in next year it will be a higher price for season tickets." Charles Green 11/10/12 That's what the honourable Charles Green told us. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2250854/Charles-Green-pledges-Ally-McCoist-10m-spend-Rangers-flotation-LSE.html And he wouldn't lie to the The Rangers fans would he? That's two that have quoted Green on his statements about transfer budgets. Do any of you really think that his soundbites are of interest to the vast majority of Rangers fans,he's gone from the club or didn't you hear. bennett
Most Rangers fans paid little or no attention to Greens rambling soundbites, it seems that the P&Bers were daft enough to lap it all up.

If,as you say,it's his business model we are still running under why then are the ST prices being frozen,or did you forget to mention that. You have no idea what business practice the club is being run under.
youngsy
Green`s model was to raise ST prices by 20% for the new season. Seems we are no longer following Green`s model. It's quite simply because he has no idea whatsoever as to how the club is being run that he has to throw Greens' name forward as if the club is being run to his business practices,Tedi.
