It's funny because it's something that David Cameron admits to using. What he must be saying is that, had the maximum 5 year prison term being slapped on 16 year old Dave this would actually have improved his life prospects. And protected society and the individual. There's just no apatite for it across the main bulk of voters in this country. You would have to persuade the sheep like people who believe the kind of shit that Telegraph or the Sun prints without question. Decades of being fed the line that drugs are bad cannot be wiped away in 5 minutes.
