The first reference to the Rovers in the bible is from First Chronicles Chapter 12, Verse 21.

And they helped David against the band of the Rovers.

First Chronicles is in the Old Testament written several hundred years before the birth of Christ.

It even predates Queen of the South fans' claim to be the only team mentioned in the bible, the queen of the south (Queen of Sheba) in First Kings Chapter 10 in the New Testament.

This is an omen for tomorrow.

So what you're saying is that the only statement to "the Rovers" in the Bible is an anti-Rovers statement???

Which is kind of apt as it sounds pretty much like your Team in matches against Alloa!!![emoji6]
