The Hampton Southampton Supporters Club got in a big fight with all the other Southampton Supporters Clubs (north, south, east, west) and call them splitters.
GordonD
When Northampton played Southampton in the FA Cup the Sun billed it as a local derby.

Dan Steele
In the late 19th century the 5-a-side League formed by the gardeners of Hyde Park, Regent's Park and Kensington Gardens was so popular that they decided to amalgamate and applied to join the FA. In deference to their boss they called themselves Queen's Park Rangers. The rest is history.
IrishBhoy
A Harvard study found that in the United States, 27.6% of packets of crisps are opened upside down, compared to just 8.6% in the UK. The reasons for this discrepancy are still as yet unknown.
BillyAnchor
Cheese and Onion crisps are banned in usa usa usa as the authorities saw they were made by Walkers and walking is seen as very un American as no solid fuel is wasted.

The simple answer is that the crisps taste better when you do this. Nonetheless the practice has been made illegal in Wyoming, South Dakota and Oregon with a maximum of 5 years imprisonment and hard labour for repeat offenders. Bit harsh. IMO.

All crisp companies in the US and Europe (except Luxembourg) are legally obliged to use circular crisp packets as of today at noon.

Melanius Mullarkey
The fumes from all SpaceX rockets have a strong smell of musk. This is the reason they land them on pads far out to sea, to prevent horny middle aged women flocking to them.
Dan Steele
The pies at Firs Park were so full of grease they used to have a wee drain valve attached. You could drain them into a 45 gallon drum at the side of the pie shed. When it was full the 'Shire would sell it to the Railway Preservation Society behind the stand. They used it to grease old train couplings.
GordonD
E. Nesbit got the idea for the book 'The Railway Children' when some kids waved to her from a passing train while she was standing behind the goal at Stark's Park.
