Mark Connolly
Hahahaha "He's a reaaaaaallllll a real mans man" Regal aswell what a gimmick from that to royalty. Loving the network wish i got into this earlier Ken Shamrock looks a total beast. Was there a wellness policy back then ? Kane looks to have a completely different build back then too Edited again The Rock beating The Big Boss Man in about 4 seconds is one of the best things ive ever seen Can't remember what it was on (possibly the Table for 3 with Sheamus and Barrett), but I saw Regal talking about that gimmick, and he was completely bemused as to how everyone remembered it when it only lasted a few weeks!
RB-Scotland
Remember on Superstars a couple of years ago when they interrupted his usual entrance music mid-way through and played "he's a man"?
Guest bernardblack
I just watched the latest "WWE List" on vignettes. It ruined my childhood
Kill Jester
Remember on Superstars a couple of years ago when they interrupted his usual entrance music mid-way through and played "he's a man"? That was on smackdown when it was in the UK. Think it was Birmingham. The crowd loved it. And so did he!
Ira Gaines
It definitely happened on Superstars at least once.
The Ginger Prince
I'm sure they show it on the Table for 3 episode he's on, probably is Superstars/Smackdown dark match.
Ira Gaines
Just checked and aye, it was Superstars in Liverpool on November 10th. It WAS a Smackdown taping though.
Ludo*1
I know Gangrel does a lot of Indy wrestling these days and is a porn director - but anyone with a clearer memory than me know what the storyline with the Brood was? Great character even if a bit of a shite wrestler. Same with the Headbangers - vaguely remember Mosh getting paired with D'Lo in some cult like tag team - but what was the script there?

I don't think there was a storyline, vampires/goth was just a thing in the late 90s
Ira Gaines
Gangrel wasn't actually all that bad in the ring when he got the chance to show it.
Tamdunk
Gangrel wasn't actually all that bad in the ring when he got the chance to show it. Edge & Christian said they learned a lot by working with him.
Latino Lover
Gangrel had a great entrance on the n64 games. That's my lasting memory of him.
Poet of the Macabre
Had a wee watch of Summerslam 2002 the other night. What a fucking fantastic show. Angle vs Rey, HHH vs HBK and Rock vs Brock are all tremendous.

diamond_for_life
f**k me corporate kane even in 1998 (im just seeing all this for the first time). What a way to make a "demon" look like a pussy after a year in the business. The story were all over the place in the attitude era with 1/10 matches having a clean finish its mental
JamieStevenson
Just finished Wrestlemania 21. Cracking show, although what an embarrassment Motorhead were for Triple H's entrance. Standard Lemmy having no idea what the lyrics are to his songs.
WFAANW
I preferred the WM21 version of "The Game" tbh

Quentin Taranbino
I see wwe have announced that they will be doing a network tournament to crown a 'Global Cruiserweight Champion' or something like that. Basically getting the best cruiserweights from across the world along with any currently in wwe and creating a tournament for it. Not sure how it will work in principle, I'm assuming it will be filmed as a pre determined live show somewhere and not a tv series style reality competition??
