vikingTON
A polling organisation correctly calling an election from an exit poll is the hilarious low-end of the practice.
Ad Lib
April 21st wasn't YouGov's final poll though was it? No indeed, but they weren't 9 points out with the other one either. It was within 3 points of the April 21st one. A polling organisation correctly calling an election from an exit poll is the hilarious low-end of the practice. They called it correctly where other pollsters in their exit polls didn't.

ayrmad
Surely anyone can see from the data sets YouGov are polling waaay to many elderly Labour voters. You need to understand that P&B isn't typical of the population when it comes to seeing things.
Baxter Parp
It was also within 3 points. And to think they had labour ahead a scant six or seven Weeks earlier, eh? Still got the gap between snp and labour wrong by about 7% too.
Tryfield
This place will be hilarious if Yes wins. It'll be fun either way. One lot will be on champagne, the other lot on Prozac. Whatever the result, the final outcome will still be the same. Do what your told, pay your taxes and shut the fcuk up. That is how I see it.

Scotland for Scotland or RUK for RUK?
Tryfield
Then to whom do you want to pay your taxes? Scotland for Scotland or RUK for RUK? I don't have a choice where my tax goes, I work in England and live in Scotland like a good few others around Dumfries, Annan, Gretna and other border towns. My company is registered in England so my tax will probably go to the treasury down south no matter what way I vote. If anyone can clarify this type of situation that myself and others in the same position find themselves, then please do.

Tryfield
^ Rag-a-bone man. Sells anything. Maybe so, but they don't pay much, if any tax.
Tryfield
Because you've never reached the tax threshold. I don't have a clue what you are gibbering on about mate. Was your "sole trader" comment actually mean to say "soul trader"?

RedRob72
Still not much movement at the Bookies, Sky Bet have No at 1/6 and Yes at 7/2 and that's about the most 'middle of the road odds' you'll get on line. http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/scottish-independence/referendum-outcome

Income tax is based on your place of residence, which is why Pink Floyd and the like popped off to France, etc. during the seventies.
RedRob72
Roughly the same odds as Brazil to win the WC then. If your Bookie is offering Brazil at 1/6 then he wont have many takers mate!
