ayrmad
Closing down my Betfair account so stuck what was left on YES. £29.57 is no too bad if YES wins. Probably a wise decision.
Tryfield
Here's a link to the YouGov poll tables http://cdn.yougov.com/cumulus_uploads/document/n9xblv6gc0/Sun_Results_Scottish_Independence_140807.pdf That canny be right. Only 28% of females voting YES?
DeeTillEhDeh
That canny be right. Only 28% of females voting YES? Not surprised there is still a distinct gender bias in voting intentions.
jmothecat
Even from personal experience women I know seem less inclined to vote yes than men I know.
Tryfield
Probably a wise decision. Maybe I jumped too quick, again. Mike Smithson @MSmithsonPB 5m YES in the Scottish #IndyRef now being rated as a 12.8% chance on Betfair betting exchange.
ayrmad
Maybe I jumped too quick, again. Why change the habits of a lifetime now that the big 5 0 is appearing on the horizon.
ayrmad
That canny be right. Only 28% of females voting YES? A quarter of those polled read broadsheets, nearly the same number that don't read papers. Edited August 11, 2014 by ayrmad
Mr Bairn
Even from personal experience women I know seem less inclined to vote yes than men I know. Which is strange considering men are usually more right wing

Tryfield
Massive clusterfuck of a report, presentation-wise. According to Mike Smithson, the poll was tweaked in Yes's favour. http://www1.politicalbetting.com/index.php/archives/2014/08/11/yougovs-indyref-no-lead-grows-even-though-the-firms-tweaked-its-methodology-to-make-it-more-favourable-to-yes/

NO remains at 61% and he claims it's a disaster? FFS. Incredible. The momentum YES should be having just isn't there.

Reynard
Devo max is not going to happen. Even JoLo when interviewed about Labour plans for Devo max said " we don't want to give Alex Salmond the powers to ". She in that one utterance admitted that any Scottish party at Holyrood would also not have the powers to. Wee Ruthies line in the sand will be a lot closer to what we end up with. Reytard. I have no idea what it is, it is undefined as and there is no agreement on what it actually is. For now probably. It will be quite good seeing Holyrood attempting to justify a chunk of its spending based on what it tries to fleece out the pockets of us Scots. But we shall see.
Reynard
Obviously in your part of Ayr running away equates to intelligence, where I'm from it's the sign of a shitebag. You know where I am..
Mr Bairn
Seems like the NCC's posting rate is way down and the Unionist posting rate is way up. NCC = Rattled. Pleasing.

H_B
That guy is in total denial. It's quite embarrassing really. Even the sensible posters on here like renton have stopped quoting his blog. It's just moved way beyond bias into outright parody now.

Ah, so you equate a lesser post count with being MORE rattled? Honestly Scrappy, at the best of times I wonder about your motives. At times like these you're just plain stupid.
