Does the white paper, the minister for indepedence or any of the other wasted expenditure on another referendum make the country any money? Let me think 🤔

No it doesn't, it is a complete waste of money.

Still stonewalling on billions put into pockets of pals from a Westminster government, which the whole of the UK had to pay for. Including Scotland.

Whataboutary again. We were talking about the snp, not WM.

Typical rabid snat changing the subject.

Definitely an easy answer. You are a Unionist. Why aren't you looking about the right wing rabid, snouts in troughs , corrupt pals who got billions of public money for nothing.

Again, we were talking about the snp and the waste of money they have spent on another referendum.

You have said nothing about that. All you did was what rabid snats do and turn it round to WM.

As the billions wasted on corrupt payments made to their pals out of the public purse actually effects the expenditure for all UK governmentsit is a very valid point to make.

Regards the SNP waste on a new referendum. Yes, that is unacceptable. I am no rabid snat, certainly nothing like you being a rabid right wing unionist whose whataboutery regards Westminsteris breathtaking.

But, to compare it to BILLIONS wasted, corruptly, by a Westminstergovernmentjust does not stand up.

And those BILLIONS affect ALL devolved governmentsin the UK. Hence coming out of everyone's purse in the UK.

Just read since september 2021 3.44 million has been wasted by the snp on another referendum. This was analysis of papers gained from the freedom of information act.

How's this for whataboutary, so far ministers have handed over £140m to the Rwandan Government and have declined to disclose how much in extra costs in both Rwanda and UK on legalities including lengthy court cases. Isn't that paid for by us, the British taxpayer?

The £3.44m spent on a referendum pales into insignificance in comparison. The amount spent by the Scottish Government is regarded as a waste now by the opposition because it failed. Same would be rightly said about the whole Rwanda debacle if it fails to get of the ground.

The amount spent on this obsession with 'the boats' right in the middle of one of the biggest financial crisis to hit the UK right is just disgusting, maybe the worst ever.

I do think it is disgusting and disgraceful the money wasted on the Rwanda project and all the other billions that have been wasted. The Conservatives are as corrupt as they come.

But what about the snp? There is whataboutary.

We should all 'obsess' over the boats, financial crisis or not.

People have died trying to make the crossing.  The gangsters facilitating the crossings are evil, making profit off people risking their lives.

It needs stopped.

More whataboutary from me -

Suella Bravermann's 'law' is/was costing almost £8m a day on providing hotels for migrants, that was last September. Taxpayer pays for it.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-office-suella-braverman-yvette-cooper-rishi-sunak-commons-b2414297.html

She's sort of gone, but not forgotten. Just sitting her time-out in the naughty chair before coming back to waste more tax payers money on her own personal political ambitions.

I most certainly am not a rabid, right wing Unionist.

As always, the Yoons seem unwilling to provide links to their sources. I wonder why?

@Steelly's report seems to be based upon this Times article, which states that the analysis  was "according to research by Scotland in Union"

In case anyone doesn't know about the tactics employed by Scotland in Union, and their associates, here's a few snippets

  • Scotland in Union's polls on support for independence are listed seperately on Wikipedia from polls that ask the 2014 referendum question. This is because the remain/leave question that they use is  considered to be "a deliberate bid to confuse independence with Brexit"
  • Max Dunbar, former treasurer of the BNP, was pictured ibelow) in one of the Unionist group's Facebook posts. in 2016 Another photo, taken in November 2018, described him as part of their “Fife team” during a event in St Andrews
  • .image.png.6297e72c9dd7f338865864f0366d09b2.png
  • Mosely is also a member of A Force for Good/Independent Green Voice, and campaigns with their leader Alistair MaConnachie, a racist holocaust denier, who was thrown out of UKIP for stating that gas chambers were not used by Nazis to murder millions of Jews during World War Two
  • Scotland in Union's registered address is 272 Bath St, Glasgow G2 4JR, a well known accommodation address, usually used by companies that wish to hide their true location
  • Scotland in Union's funders choose to remain hidden. Here's an article that discusses their backgrounds, without naming names https://archive.ph/joEoR

Given all these facts, I'm not exactly inclined to believe any nonsense that they punt out to the MSM
