Leeds have reduced the capacity of the East stand taking out 1500 seats but putting in extra boxes.

Your 4 years late with this as the new boxes were started in March 2011 as phase 1 of Ken Bates five phase plan to build a hotel on the east stand.

Thankfully it never got of the ground, with the boxes being the only bit completed.

When was the work completed? The Leeds season ticket holder on the football ground guide forum posted the picture up stating that the top tier was not open this season and the work was only started as Bates did not like sitting in the Main stand. He also said there is a new hospitality section on the back of the stand.

Kind of depressing that the only redevelopment of any note in Scotland recently has been this at Galabank:

I suppose there was so much development in the 1990s and 2000s that no-one needs it now.

Aside from Aberdeen's long-term plans, I think the only concrete developments planned anywhere just now is a 300-seater at East Kilbride...!!

There's also been Albion Rovers' new terrace, which opened at the weekend there.
