RandomGuy.
Pete O'Rourke of Sky Sports saying on Twitter that Fleetwood Town have made a bid for Billy McKay. https://twitter.com/SkySportsPeteO/status/497056918251532288 And we were getting offended Rotherham were after our star player. ICTChris
We can't sell McKay we literally don't have any other strikers.
LossieDee
Surely McKay would give that a miss Fleetwood Town >>>>>> ICT
Niseach
We can't sell McKay we literally don't have any other strikers. You really think that will stop us letting him go? And we were getting offended Rotherham were after our star player. Christ. Fleetwood are a class act...

RiG
Apparently we've rejected the bid. So says someone on CTO.
scottorae
Any word on Shinnie? Dons still sniffing about?
RiG
Unless Aberdeen put a (decent) bid in he will stay with us. Surprised no English teams have been looking at him. He won some admirers on Saturday v Birmingham.

Niseach
Pretty sure Aberdeen dropped interest in Shinnie, at least for now. Stuart Milne's offering of 'a 5 figure sum of his own money' clearly didn't get very far. Good to see there was no messing around re: McKay, although I imagine it won't be the last offer we get over the next couple of weeks.
Niseach
STV says the offer was below £100k. Absolute joke.

RiG
I see that ICT v Celtic has been switched to Sunday 24th August now with a 12:15 kick off. Ridiculous they've been allowed to make this change with a little over two weeks before the game is played. Fans will have seen the first fixture move and assumed it was now safe to buy travel tickets, sort out accommodation etc and then they go and move the match again. I suspect that this is due to Celtic getting papped out of the CL but if this was a risk (and it clearly was an obvious one) why move the game forward to Saturday lunchtime when that risk still exists that it would need to be moved again? They should have stuck it down for Sunday and left it at that. That way no matter what happened to Celtic in the CL fans could have made their plans safe in the knowledge the fixture wouldn't be changed again. Another f**k up from the SPFL. gav-ffc
That's Fleetwood just signed two forwards today so looks like Mackay ain't going nowhere.
CityDave
One of those rotten Twitter agent accounts claims the offer was £65,000. A completely clueless and pointless bid if true. However according to the BBC there has been no contact between the two clubs over Billy McKay.
RiG
What TV channel is it on? Sky Sports if I mind right. EDIT: I don't. It's BT Sports.
CityDave
That's Fleetwood just signed two forwards today so looks like Mackay ain't going nowhere. He wouldn't be going anywhere anyway unless a club makes an ''exceptional bid''. He is worth much more to the club as a player than a just a few hundred k and this alleged bid for him from Fleetwood is a laugh. These clubs think Scottish clubs are practically giving away their players for any cash, just because the transfer market up here by transfer fee is almost non existent.
