Supposedly, Alan Nixon (on his Patreon) is claiming Jamie McGrath will choose between Aberdeen or Hibs.

I can't believe for a moment we'd be interested in him. He turned us down for Dundee Utd and by all accounts had a terrible season. Its definite no for me.

He didn't choose United. Wigan changed the terms of the deal so we pulled out.

Could be a good squad option. Always thought he works hard and keeps the ball well but I wouldn't be breaking the bank to sign him.

That's right (completely forgot) Cormack clarified that last summer.

I was hopeful we might still be in for Tonio Teklic as he looked really promising. I'm just not convinced by McGrath.

Oh if it's one or the other then it's Teklic for me.

Best of luck to the Hibs with this one.

The Jamie McGrath in his first season at St Mirren, I’d absolutely have taken.

Since?

Nah, he’s a penalty merchant & fairly anonymous aside from that.

Just listened to the ABZ podcast review of ‘that’ portion of the season.

Objectively absolutely hilarious. When you walk through it step by step it really was quite incredible. I will never forget it.

I needed therapy after it.

Beggars belief Hoodwink survived Tynecastle, let alone Darvel.

Celtic at home was the day I realised he was an absolute Diddy. Could not have foreseen what was to come though.

I had a wild hangover and turned up half an hour earlier that I usually would for a kick off. Howling experience.

Good news. P&J reporting Aberdeen are not interested in Jamie McGrath.

It was a similar fabrication from the papers regarding Will Fish. Just trying to make headlines (Aberdeen vs Hibs transfer battle etc).

Good. Would be a big wage on a player who doesn't get into our strongest 11. Get in Teklic, Shinnie, Idzes, try and get Pollock/Scales back. That should be our priorities before pre season starts.

Celtic's appointment of Brendan Rodgers should accelerate the answer to whether Liam Scales is signing or not. I can't see Rodgers wanting to keep him and will probably be looking to sell him. Burrows suggested a few weeks back that the Nottingham Forrest cash windfall (650k) would be used to sign him. I reckon we'll be roughly 500k for him if he signs.
