After last season, Duk was the main man and the one being touted for big moves. A year later, Miovski has applied himself, improved his game, delivered on the big stage, treated the club and fans with respect and has a life changing move to a champions league La Liga club. Duk on the other hand had a very poor season, attitude seemed way off, failed to turn up for training and is now frozen out. He’s gone from hero to zero with fans if he cares about that. There won’t be many suitors for him now given how he has acted and any clubs who are interest won’t be of the same calibre as last summer.
kingjoey
Watching the video of his goals made me remember how many big goals, in big games, against big teams, he scored. What a guy. Probably our best all round striker since Frank McDougall.

BucksburnDandy
Another Miovski post. What a player and a classy man. To add to the brilliant point from @kingjoey about big goals in big games against big teams, the other very noticeable thing is the sheer variety of finishes and the high quality of so many of them. To have the talent to pull off such a variety of finishes in high pressure moments is a rare thing to see at our level. He may not have the goals of Rooney in modern times but he leaves an indelible mark on the club and in the memories of the fans. And a beautiful profit for the club. Credit where due to Cormack, Gunn and Burrows. Mainly though wish all the best to Miovski, a magical Macedonian.

Best striker I’ve seen since Duncan Shearer. kinda player only comes along to a club like us once in a life time. watching the La Liga all access on Netflix Girona episode manager comes across very well seem to have a really good team spirit about them. Dailey Blind is there. If it’s the same he looks like he’s joining an interesting team on the up

Needs to go & play 25-30 games in the league for a club. That’ll not happen at Dundee.
Don exotic
Surely Duk should recognise that now could have been his chance to play as the central striker. This is what his agent has reported is his issue. He needs to sack said agent, get fit, come back, knuckle down and hope for the best. Otherwise, he may well have wasted his career. The odds are this is already the case, but even being mercenary coming back and scoring goals is the best chance of salvaging his career at any level.
O_Kahn
Assuming Duk doesn't return to the fold, do you think we'll sign another striker, or go with what we have now?
