cowdenbeath
It was about the worst. Getting gubbed of Stenny with the infamous German keeper was probably slightly worse. Fun times. That was worse , the tactics were all wrong that day, we were lucky Gretna too pity on us for the 2nd half.
Cowden til i die
I remember the following game we played them at Central Park they beat us 1-0 with a Tosh over head kick and it felt like a victory. Such a contrast. That was the Baikie and Irons era wasn't it?
Cowden Cowboy
I guess Brazil must be relying on the 'playing the young laddies on the big pitch' tactic

Shaktar
Just like watching Cowdenbeath. Yes, just like watching Cowdenbeath destroy the Pars some weeks back, pure magic, I trust you have you beach gear ready.
CowdenConvert
Just doing a wee preview for next week's friendly - are Higgins, Campbell and Brownlie (loan deal permanent) the only signings so far or am I missing some? All permanent as far as I'm aware. Cowden til i die
Looking at it like that it's slightly worrying the lack of activity. A lot of the names I heard we offered deals to have signed elsewhere. I'm sure JN has a couple up his sleeve.
PELE
Just 16/17s and below Muzz. All the modern apprentices and older part timers will be playing in the under 20 development league (which is replacing the under 19 and reserve leagues). The new elite set-up is a disaster for us. If we have any sense we will withdraw from it or run our own youth teams in parallel.
Cowden Cowboy
In what way is it a disaster for us?
Cowden til i die
Agreed. We don't have an extensive youth set up - we haven't had teams down at all ages - so really it's advantageous to us. I've always wanted to see us have teams from soccer school to 19s but this is the next best thing. Especially as we keep our own 19/20s.

CowdenConvert
Don't mind the draws. Should be winning them both for a confidence booster at the start of the season.
big al
Cup games at start of season wont be easy.
Cowden til i die
Correct. Clyde and Brechin have defeated us in recent season when we were in the first division. Would bite your hand off for two scrappy 1-0s.
CowdenConvert
Look how we swept aside Ayr and the townies. Neither of those two are at that level.
