welldaft
Thought they wanted to improve their cup record? Rules out Jackie McNamara then. Imagine not being able to beat St Johnstone in a final

AberdeenBud
Pity imo. While Lennon is a vile and disgusting individual, I still rate McCoist as a better manager. McCoist is probably one of the few people in Scotland who is A) A more vile individual than Lennon. And B) A worse football manager than Lennon. forever_blue
This from Celtic Quick News is funny :- He was a hugely successful Celtic manager in Scotland and in Europe. The Barcelona team of the last six years, possibly the greatest team in history, were at their peak when they visited Celtic Park in November 2012. Neil came up with the game plan which brought Celtic victory and raised our profile across Europe. Classic revisionism. barcelona all be it still a very strong team where certainly not at their peak when they visited the girodome in nov 2012

HTG
Pity imo. While Lennon is a vile and disgusting individual, I still rate McCoist as a better manager. The hearts boy further up called this right. Lennon is nothing like a vile and disgusting individual. He's basically a decent guy who was in a job where he lost the plot from time to time. He's better off away before the other cheek makes its appearance in the scene. The success measure at Celtic was always going to be how well they did spending fractions of the cash that is now available to most of their competitors in the CL groups. He did pretty well overall on that front. His opposite number had fewer opportunities but made a roaring c**t of what he did have. No comparison between their respective capabilities. I think Malky McKay would be a decent choice. Moyes would be unaffordable. Larsson looks nailed on for it which surprises me.
