19QOS19
Just like the "Movie" topic. With games on next-gen costing up to and over £50 a pop now, you may well be as apprehensive as me when it comes to forking out for a game you aren't desperate to have. Apologies if there is a similar thread. I couldn't be arsed hunting for it. Stick it to The Man (PS4) Playstation Plus' free game of the month. I wouldn't have looked twice at it otherwise. A good quirky game though that I thoroughly enjoyed. "Fun" would be it summed up in a word, for me. With only 10 levels it's a bit short though. If it can be picked up for anything under £12 I would still give it a whack. Wouldn't go any higher though.
killie_lad
Child of light - awesome Stick it to the man is brilliant but you have to 'stick' with it. It doesn't get any less bizzare but by the time you've finished it doesn't seem quite as fucking bonkers because you're used to it Edited May 23, 2014 by killie_lad
Kujabi_Kujabyou
Bought the Star Wars ultimate pack on Steam the other day and am having a blast with them all. The Force Unleashed: Sith edition is insanely good!! Can't wait to start Unleashed 2.

StewartyMac
Dishonoured Trying my best to get into it Got that recently, not played it yet though. Last game I played was Aladdin on a SNES emulator. Very good. Used to have it on the Amiga years ago, but the ability to save wherever you want is great now.
P.C
Mass Effect 3. Hadn't played it since my 1st play through so doing another as renegade before attempting it on insane and that should mop up the 5k kills achievement in the same swoop
MattBairn
Unreal Tournament. Still the best of the series. Got it cheap on steam. Still as fun as it was the day if was released. Excellent.
StewartyMac
Started on the first Dead Space game last night. Had it for a while but never got round to playing it. It's not bad, but the camera angle will take a bit of getting used to. It's that Resi 4 over the shoulder view, but at least the 'look' camera is quite flexible. One thing that's annoying is there's no option to auto-aim. In a game like this, where you can only kill the beasties by shooting their limbs off, this is a bit of an oversight, particularly when there's a few of them in the same room. Nae use when you're as bad as me at games. Quite good though, for an old game.
Mad Capsule
South Park : The Stick Of Truth. Genuinely hilarious, and so many nods to the TV series. Not the most challenging game in the world, but the humour in the 20 hours game play time was more than enough to keep me going. Would recommend to anyone.

The humour in it is brillant and even when you go beyond it the gameplay is pretty solid. Know they are considering making a sequel which would be great Started on the first Dead Space game last night. Had it for a while but never got round to playing it. The first game can feel a bit clunky at times but think that adds to the sense of terror and also to remind you that you are an engineer and not a soldier

The Grass Is Greener.
Finished The Last of Us last night at some ungodly hour. Holy ****! Best. Game. Ever. I finished this yesterday after only getting it on Monday and I'm now kicking myself I didn't get it earlier. Best game I've ever played and really enjoyed the story. Hope they bring out a 2nd one. 10/10

If you're able to download Left Behind, it is worth it even if only for the added bits to the story for Ellie. I normally don't replay games, but I've started it again on Hard level.
well fan for life
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. It's even better than I remember as a wean. I won't lie, I had to use a walkthrough for the water temple. I wandered round that place for 3 hours and got stuck a key short.

Replayed the N64 version not that long ago and had the same problem (even though i've played the damn game a million times) Raising and lowering that bloody water level was the bane of my childhood.
Mad Capsule
I picked up Rayman Legends for the 360 for a fiver the other day from HMV. Brilliant fun. A great game that you can dip in and out of, instead of having to apply hundreds of hours like usual. Would recommend, especially at that price!
