Hey! Ho! Jambo!
5 hours ago, RandomGuy. said: MacLean suffered two serious microfracture knee injuries with us playing on it, and doctors recommended he shouldn't play any more games on it as the next fracture could be a major one, which would serious implications for his entire life. MacLean is the type of person who just wants to play, but TW refused to let him risk his later life mobility for a game of football, I'd hope Levein feels the same way but it doesn't look like it. Theres plenty of quotes from MacLean a few years back admitting he struggles to recover after games on it and feels pain in his knee. Mr Levein to leave him in a wheelchair later in life after bringing him on to salvage a draw at New Douglas Park, then.
JamieThomas
In many ways, MacLean is braver than the Hearts lads who took to the fields of the Somme.
paranoid android
11 hours ago, Tony Wonder said: No one as been kicked out as such. There are a few occasions teams have been given a 3-0 walkover, and as they were in a knockout competition it resulted in them going out, but they weren't expelled. Stranraer and Cove have both previously been fined for having ineligible players on the bench in the LC, but neither came on. In contrast, Dunfermline played a suspended player in the Scotttish Cup against Stenhousemuir and they got away with a replay. There should be a rule set in stone, but the powers that be that run football are idiots so no such thing exists. It'll be a fine or 3-0 Cove win IMO as kicking us out would unbalance the group and do teams out of gate money and there's not enough time for a replay. Nice one - see, I made the mistake of believing RandomGuy. Edited July 20, 2018 by paranoid android

DC92
Over a dozen players signed and not one of them a creative midfielder, despite being the least creative team in the league last season. It's the second game of the season and we're starting an Inverness reject winger at wing-back (who cost us a goal), a centre-back in midfield and relying on three teenagers off the bench to salvage something against a team that got pumped by Cowdenbeath last week. Maybe Levein knows what he's doing though eh? Edited July 21, 2018 by DC92

JamieThomas
Was pleased the Raith goal meant I could switch over to the golf earlier, tbh.

Falcor Roar
Its usually a bad sign when the manager starts attacking the players in public instead of defending them. Its definitely a bad sign when you're only 2 games in and half the team was signed the month before.
JamieThomas
It's probably also not a great sign that you sign thirteen new bodies and still have to punt three bairns on as subs. I'll go ahead and say it again - c***s would be going absolutely tonto if this was happening under dear old Mr R.
