Heart of Midlothian 2014-

Davies pulling out and putting the boot into Levein.

Basically confirming that anyone who isn't one of his mates will never take the job - and we're apparently prepared to waste even more time now looking at those currently in work? What a fucking disgrace. Budge clearly doesn't have a scooby considering she is happy to oversee such a situation.

Bullet dodged with Davies. He's the type of dick that has to have a pop at the club when it's revealed Hearts don't want him.

It's easy enough to tear into Levein and/or Budge when you read Davies comments but the fact is, he does that with near enough every club he's been at means there is little credibility in his comments.

I sincerely hope you guys appoint Pressley as there's not a harder working guy in football than Hartley and I enjoy being able to laugh at you guys.

In other news - Scot Gardiner is getting the bullet from Hearts because he's apparently the responsible one for the delays in Hearts getting their new stand open on time as he didn't order new seats.

It's pretty much the same reason he was binned from Dundee as he had us without a sponsor at the start of the season.

An announcement regarding the appointment will be made next week:

A decent performance/result against Motherwell at the weekend would justify the appointment of Daly in many people's eyes, even though it would probably be the wrong appointment at this time.

Did he fabricate a health scare when you boys launched him too?

STV understands Daly has impressed the Hearts players, as well as assistant coach Austin MacPhee and first team coach Liam Fox since taking charge, with the first team keen for him to continue in the role.

Craig Levein is keen to retain the model of replacing the head coach from within the coaching structure by appointing Daly but owner Budge remains to be convinced after the failure of rookie boss Ian Cathro.

She favours a more experienced man in charge and Steven Pressley remains firmly in the board's thoughts. Paul Hartley is unlikely to be handed the job.

So we're down to two candidates then. One favoured by the Director of Football, whose main motivation is to keep his "model" alive and save his own reputation, and one favoured by the Chairwoman, who probably has the best interests of the club at heart but doesn't have much of a clue about football.

Just announce Daly and put us out of our misery.

Wouldn't actually be upset if Daly was given this season. Liking the way he talks and must be doing something right to get the players behind him. Would be criminal if we appoint someone and he departs to start his managerial career elsewhere.

Wouldn't be too despondent if SPH rocked up either. Looking in from the outside, he seemed to be doing ok at Dundee, but did lose a few players which never helped.

The Serpent? Absolutely GTF with bells on. We'd be better off appointing Eamonn & Ruth.
Shitehawk of a man, Shitehawk of a manager.

If it's a two horse race between Pressley and Daly then I'm all for Daly being given a chance.

Bit worrying that we've apparently set out for an experienced manager following Cathro's failure and ended up in this position though.

The only thing that would piss me off about that is that Budgie has stated that Levein's model is being abandoned, and that we would appoint an experienced coach - she's missed the boat there, and partly because she's been on her fucking holidays while we should have been appointing a manager.

That apart, I like how Daly's handled things so far.
