AUFC90
Nope, when asked she always says that the Scottish government's preferred option is a currency union. She has never said what plan B is. When Jolo repeatedly asked her "what currency we would be using in an independent Scotland", her REPEATED reply was, "the pound". So going by that and by using common sense, I'd say that it's more than likely we'll be using sterling
Geronimo
I wonder if Darling will use the Jim Murphy tactic and just pretend they are not there... https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Zji4dTx-j8w If you mute the sound, it looks like he's rapping. Blaven
You're so gullible and open to BT propaganda I don't know whether to pity you or ruffle your hair. Watch Darling's blinking eyes. Just watch them. Yes we can. In the event of a Yes vote, if we don't use the £, aren't admitted into the EU and the infrastructure costs exceed £250m, I'll give you £500 in used notes. There's a guarantee right there, sweet cheeks. Aye but he will no can spend them.:lol::lol:
Guest
As far as I'm aware no one from the SNP have confirmed that using the pound without a currency union is plan B There are four currency options laid out in the White Paper. In order of preference they are: 1) Currency Union 2) Carry on using the pound anyway 3) New Scottish currency 4) Euro

The SNP's own economic advisers have told them using the pound unilaterally would be a dreadful idea.

loyal-blue
Did my post disappear? It's a joke that the debate isn't being shown here. Literally hundreds of undecided voters could be being left out from the most important debate in our lifetime. Are we part of Scotland?
