Boostin' Kev
Will revisit the Del/Hiero/Souls releases this week. I slept on that stuff to an extent at the time. Didnt listen to them so much being east coast daft.

Boostin' Kev
Been listening to some freestlyes from Harlems Finest this morning. From Stretch and Bobbito show 1995. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsud8Cy9UV8
Nizzy
Re. 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' I'm struggling to remember why 50 Cent was the subject of so much hype? Was in down to him being a Dre/Eminem signing? His gangsta background? The 'How to Rob' single? I can hardly bear listening to him mumbling his way through one track, never mind 19 of them. Boostin' Kev
All of the above probably and a lot of clever marketing as well about his upbringing/number of times shot etc.
Seymour Skinner
Beat selection, hook writing, most people thought he had a good voice, the eminem/dre cosign, and the fact that he had to build himself from the ground up twice, due to getting shot 9 times when his first album was about to get released etc.
Seymour Skinner
50 cent >>>>> eazy e. Better beats, better voice, better lyrics (that 50 actually wrote himself), better flow and generally he's a more accomplished rapper
Nizzy
I always thought Eazy-E was a whiny-voiced turd. His lyrics were ghost-written and all the best beats were saved for N.W.A's group efforts, or affiliated projects like The D.O.C's 'No One Can Do It Better'. Boostin' Kev
Seriously thinking of puting Seymour on block here.
Boostin' Kev
If he was shot a 10th time it couldve saved us all over a decade of earache. Seymour if you ever get round to checking out Lord Finesse you wont be so high on Fiddys; Beat selection Hooks Vocal skills Being better than Eazy E

That DOC album is really good shame about him getting into that car accident.
