Arthur Orton
The average attendances for the OF are probably accurate for today, if they weren't continually massaging the figures.

Jacksgranda
1407572262893.jpg Those must be for the calendar year 1976, rather than 75/76 season, Kilmarnock & Thistle would have fairly boosted the total for BOP over a complete season.

7-2
The Police - Shit scared of the Old Firm for decades. The knuckle draggers on We Are Pack are going to love this. They'll be recounting the good old days of embarrassing Saints and kicking f**k out of guys on their own even more than usual.
jagfox
It must be a calendar year as thistle were in the second division in 75/76? Hence Ayr having a higher attendance than us?
Nightmare
It must be a calendar year as thistle were in the second division in 75/76? Hence Ayr having a higher attendance than us? Considering Thistle have 13 games worth of records next to Ayr's 25, that seems about right. Our average attendance is higher as well.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Note that the arrests aren't broken down by home or away fans. Those indecent behaviours at Ibrox could easily be the police partaking in a massive anti-Irish catholic conspiracy at an OF game. Still Motherwell punching well above our weight leading in the arrests per 1000 category. Probably a good couple of Ayr vs Kilmarnock scraps hidden in those stats too.
