'The ref can get tae Bobby F'

I can just see it entering the Urban Dictionary now:

Bobby F

Verb: To analyse a refereeing performance and always come to the conclusion that the referee's performance was biased against your team. (Only ever guaranteed to actually be true if you happen to be a supporter of St Mirren Football Club, Paisley, Scotland).

For example: "Arsene Wenger really Bobby F'ed that post match interview. Of course he saw the incident!"

Noun: A wise and insightful individual who can rise above their own prejudices and call any given footballing incident with a superhuman level of precision.

For example "Pierluigi Collina was a great referee, but he was no Bobby F"

[The Urban Dictionary takes no responsibility for the accuracy of these definitions, others may exist]

Is Bonner really suggesting that refs and their assistants shouldn't give decisions in case they upset a big home support?

Typical Old Firm fanny

Yes and yes.

Gems from Mcinnes on the radio included " the third Dundee goal stopped us from winning the game."

Insight.
