They have a token 'Championship Tuesday'. This means they usually talk about Dundee United and Ayr since Ian McCall is always the guest on that show.
Ranaldo Bairn
I see. McCall is always honest and interesting at least.
RiG
Possibly the wrong thread but whilst we're on the subject Sportscene doesn't even bother mentioning the scores / tables from the lower leagues which is absolutely pathetic. They could easily have a couple of featured games and then quickly blast through the tables / results in a few minutes.

Stellaboz
They received a lot of stick around five years ago for mentioning lower league scores and stopped... Why? Why did people give then stick? Was it 30 seconds they could have filled of Chic Young sooking on Michael Mols boaby?
Green Day
Dickie Gordon - on Stuart and Tam - says he thinks Hibs fans will be unenthused about the candidates for the managerial vacancy at ER. Because "Alan Stubbs won the cup and Neil Lennon was box office................." Forget the possibility that the new guy might be a good coach/man manager etc, but if he cant give us a few choice wee quotes or controversy, we arnae interested. Fuckin plum

If they had even bothered to either look at the current run of form at the time or even asked a couple of regulars that turn up at Station Park, it would have been blatantly obvious why he had to go. Wait they have mentioned Forfar on the program, thought Forfar was only mentioned in relation to its brides

I think the received stick for following the journey of a new team to the SPFL treatment that Edinburgh City have never received and the lower leagues have received next to no coverage since
Snifter Pee Rot
Listening to the chat about Madden, the dude is a Rangers man like Dallas, elephant in the room. What contentious big decision has Madden ever gave against Rangers? Aberdeen were never getting anything from him. Fans should not referee their own teams, period!

Fuckin plum He quite clearly said and meant that the candidates were hardly something to get excited about *now*. Of course he might go on to win the treble, but that wasnt the point. For mentioning one lower league score in particular, and lingering on one seaside division game each week in particular. Almost as if the governing body had painted its self into a corner and it was costing them hundreds of thousands of pounds to satisfy contractual obligations, so they punted coverage to the "national" broadcaster for free to cover their tracks. Perhaps.
DA Baracus
Meant to add this earlier when I heard it. They were talking about the Hearts/Auchinleck game tomorrow and said the usual pish about how the money will be great for Auchinleck and will keep them going for years (as if their business model is to hope they get all the way to the 5th round so that they can draw a team like Hearts away). Anyway, someone (can't mind who) was talking about how the crowd at Tynecastle tomorrow will be circa 16k. Comments like that confirm that the pundits they employ really have no clue about football. They are incompetent lazy shite.

It's a recurring theme with Scottish football pundits. Small clubs who gain promotion or stave off relegation with a manager should be rewarding him with a statue outside their ground according to them. It's like these clubs aren't allowed to sack anyone because they did one good thing so now anything shite after that can be disregarded. They stop short of saying (but are clearly thinking it) 'how fucking dare you sack him, look what he did for your pish wee club nobody cares about. You should be lucky any cunt wants to manage you and pipe down'.
The Master
I would have thought that with Celtic 4-0 up and dominant, they’d have switched to Hearts v Auchinleck at 3pm instead of joining it 20 minutes or so in. How naive I am.
Darren
Another "point in case", as Allan Preston just said
