an-dee
I actually think the clap thing would look and sound quite good if it was the full stand doing it. 100 or so guys in a corner with one drum and flags just looks ridiculous. Looks great when someone like Dortmund do it.
davidy233
Very enjoyable afternoon in Perth - Hartley has got them looking really professional just now, good to get the chance to congratulate Brian Easton on the Scottish Cup win in person too, he's a cracking lad Some pics from the game http://davidyoung.photoshelter.com/gallery/13-09-2014-St-Johnstone-v-Dundee/G0000SjUENggrcoc/

The Saintee
Dundee crowd was good and deserved the win. Auld Saint Irvine was excellent.
Chateau Lafite
Dundee crowd was good and deserved the win. Auld Saint Irvine was excellent. Thank you. Its a delight to read something reasonable. Irvine has been both great and mediocre in his Dens career and this observer has been very frustrated at him, particularly in his distribution - apart from a wonderful cross to pick out Peaso on helicopter Saturday. Defensively he has always been good, but I have to admit that since he's been at left back following Dyer's injury he has been outstanding. He coped without any difficulty with both Celtic and the Saints and looks very solid. I'm not sure how old he was when he left Perth, but there is a lot more experience in those boots than there was then, so I can understand that you may be surprised. Ludo*1
Gary Irvine has been a lot better at LB than he has ever been for us at RB. He's quite clearly not the White Cafu, he's the Scottish Lahm.
DundeeFC92
Agree about Irvine, he was excellent on Saturday. He's filled in at left back for 4 and a half games now and we've only conceded a deflected goal to Celtic in that time.
Rene Fonck
I though he was a solid player with us. A few folk thought he would be the weak link on sat but it didn't work out that way!
RawB93
Great on Sat with the exception of getting caught out of position twice in about 10 minutes. McGowan covered excellently while screaming at him and think McAlister covered the second time.
The Saintee
Don't think that there was 3500 through. Hopefully have MacLean back for the return on the 8th November.
Aitchy
Has the wealth of these Americans ever actualy been revealed? Still find it strange to see a club that was in adminstration a few years back now signing boys like Thomson, McPake and McGowan. None of them will playing for peanuts. Hope the sums have been done properly this time.
