1320Lichtie
Sounds like Whatley a wee bit who's our captain. It'll just be cover. Cheers for the write up though. And DC is a 4-4-2 man

It is not a true 4-4-2, one forward does come short, but they do take turns, Hodge signing must be bad news for Malin

1320Lichtie
DC said he had a big signing lined up in the hospitality, could've been a joke and I've took it the wrong way though.

1320Lichtie
Dunlop and Phillips away to Berwick on their official site. We must be getting a centre half in. Hammy to LB. tbh tad disappointed I quite liked Phillips but he was a striker/LM playing at LB. And I think Hammy going to LB and us getting a centre half is a stick on so suppose he just had to make room.
Smokerson
Phillips was a LM / Striker?? I thought there would be a bit reshuffling this month, didn't particularly rate Dunlop or Phillips so no surprise to see them move on. Replacement defenders must be coming in
JoseMarooniho
I liked Phillips. Thought he was very good on the ball tho admittedly not the best defender.

I thought that both were decent squad players at this level. We're not flush for defenders, so Dick must have some impact signings up his sleeve. I wouldn't break up the CB partnership of Hammy and Ricky. Best in the league.

1320Lichtie
Would've liked to see him stay too but I really doubt he'll be a miss, Hammy will go to LB and a centre half will come in. We all know how good Hammy is at LB. Much better than Phillips. Just need to hope the centre half is half decent and we will have made an improvement.
1320Lichtie
Or maybe a LB in, leave Hammy where he is Maybe But if that's the case there was already 2 and would've been better keeping Phillips and letting Sukar go back to United surely
JoseMarooniho
This. Think letting him go is a mistake from the "tap boi". I don't know. There was a lot of weeping about GK Fleming and we got over that quickly.
Smokerson
Never really understood why some seem to think Philips was Roberto Carlos. He was always a back up, Sukur is a far better defender. We need a centre back in now, no cover at all if any of the back four get injured or suspended. Ricky and Sukur have both had 2 reds each so far.
