lichtiekev Posted July 22, 2023 Share Posted July 22, 2023 (edited) Don't think anyone really expected anything other than that today if your been completely honest, Agreed the wee bit off positivity after the Dundee friendly is gone, We need defensive cover, a Centre midfielder who gives the defence protection and another winger, Our squad is so unbelievably unbalanced and we look all over the place, After the dressing room unrest and fall outs from last season come out it, is it actually fixed or is there still more to it, something isn't right.... I absolutely cannot be arsed with it - fact that finished 4-0 today is wild - they were the better team but losing by 4 is a disgrace - however many central midfielders and not a single one that’s defensive minded. TheRoundO Posted July 22, 2023 Share Posted July 22, 2023 We really have to sort ourselves out defensively. Having no left footed defenders is worrying. It seems we do need a sitting defensive midfielder to be safe at the back. I actually thought Balde was very good and Slater decent but we did have alarming gaps. McKenna not effective today. Bird not getting the credit he deserves- he gave Gogic a torrid time.
