Disastrous decision by Campbell to agree to play then high flying (not for long) QP two games in a row. It would be nice to get a win - unlikely but not impossible.

It took me a while to figure out what “disgusting tidsy” meant. No we weren’t. We matched an average Championship side apart from lack of composure in front of goal and a weakness they exploited at right back. Dreadful to continue our losing streak and too much hoofball at times but pretty organised and not disgusting.

Walker was not up to it at right back. Lyon was worse. Everything came down Morton’s left. Everyone else pretty decent. Macintosh my mom.

It’s just standard manager mind games to get our players riled up in the hope we might not lose our last 3 games. Fergie would have done it. We’ve been a gift of 3 points for quite some time now.

Really signing for Falkirk? Full time would be a surprise at 33. Hasn’t had a good season with injuries. Peaked 2 years ago when we had Nouble - wonder why? I assume you’ll be strengthening but I don’t see him as a starter. Great guy though. Will run his heart out for you.

Tell you what, who would we like to let go and get an upgrade? Lyon Jacobs Robinson Norey Dunnwald and we’ll have to replace a few more. We should aim to start the season with players we believe can earn a starting place if we have ambition. We desperately need at least one excellent winger, a creative midfielder and a defensive midfielder - not to mention a goalie or two, a left back etc.

I’d also go for ToB and Steele at CB, but a lesson from this season is we need defensive cover for injuries and suspensions.

When did Gold renew?

It is, but we have to accept the fact that we start with the remnants of a very poor championship squad. With ToB and McKenna injured or just poor this season we have no players who will stand out in League 1. Well, maybe Bird but he'll be off.

Ryan Dow reminds me of some recent, now departed, "attacking" members of our squad who were favourites of some fans. 1 goal and 4 assists in a season and a half is not an adequate contribution for an attacking player. We've got defenders who score more than that. And don't underestimate league 1..

If that means Gold, ToB, Hammy and Dow are signing up for next year it sounds like good news - well maybe not Dow...

I assume they’ll announce a contract extension for Gold or he wouldn’t be there. I imagine there’ll be more extensions to calm the waters.

Lichties heresy alert: McKenna has been a great player for us and certainly has a great attitude and fighting spirit, but after a couple of mediocre seasons and at 33 years old would it be so bad if he moved on? Please understand that I’d prefer him to stay.
