Adams is a cult hero for the goal and was ok in goals last week, but he’s never played at this level and I’d be very nervous to have him a first choice goalie for months.

It’s a shame we didn’t give Gold and Stewart a chance as strikers last season. They couldn’t have done worse.

I'm not criticising, just saying it's mind boggling that we have the majority of our players out injured AND didn't have a physic. I don't know how the boys have been getting treatment and recovery programmes. Hopefully we've had someone on contract.

Logical of course but strange timing because today he really seemed to “come of age” at this level and made a very good contribution. If we had a better winger we could loan him to a L1 team, but we don’t.

Opinions, eh? IMHO Ali Adams was MOM (after a shaky start). Stewart was heroic though, and after Tam went off Hammy gave a real captain’s performance. I thought Stowe was decent today. Agreed he has a lot to learn but he worked his socks off and earned us an obvious penalty. He will score goals. And also IMHO Mackinnon had a very good second half after a nervous start. He has an eye for a forward pass, something we are missing. And I thought Robinson was hopeless, it he just got off the plane and clearly didn’t have a clue where he was supposed to be playing.

So sorry for Walker. He was having a good game and got crocked. I don’t think we’ll be seeing him again this season. Or maybe never.

I see this, but when fully fit and in a strong back 4 Hammy has scored and assisted well. 4 goals in each of the last 2 seasons. But will he be able to repeat that after the injury? Still, a young pretender is very welcome.

Going in to this season with only 3 fit defenders (with Hammy to come back later) was potentially suicidal, and so it proved. We need defenders.
