You respect Dick (if you do) for his remarkable record as a lower league manager and maybe for his showmanship. I doubt anyone respects him for his honesty or his character. I respect him.

Dick is not a fan of spending money on a youth team that he could spend getting better players in for the first team. I’m not saying I agree with him, but it was probably the right call for a part time club trying to survive in the Championship. If it’s his call your youth team will be binned.

Walker is the player who looked completely crocked. The way he thumped the ground in frustration when he got injured looked to me like he thought it was serious. But who knows since the club tell us frick all.
